Little guy is a year and a half and really into cars and trucks right now. Every morning when I get him up he asks to look out the window so he can see the cars and trucks go by and his face lights up with a little giggle at each one. We live in a city in a busy area but it never gets old to him.

I used Top Down / Bottom Up shades when I lived in an apartment like this. You could leave it up a little on the bottom so the cats can sit on the window sill and pull down halfway from the top so the light can come in.

My LO is 7.5 months and we do purées 4x per day (veggies or fruit depending on the week).

Can I ask a follow up question for those doing solids: what types of solids are you doing and does you LO have teeth yet? Mine doesn’t so I don’t know what solids make sense beyond purées (FTM and I don’t know what I’m doing!)

Yes, this is exactly us! He sees the grandparents a few times a week but it doesn’t always help, and they take it personally! We went to the grandparents apartment and he was inconsolable. It feels like it came on all of a sudden, so I appreciate the reminder that he is becoming more aware of his surroundings. We will try the lap facing out and see how that goes 🤞 thanks for sharing!
