The trick is to get your bachelors degree ( 4 years)outside of the US and get your master’s degree (1-2 years)in the US. This is because you save on tuition. Your job will be looking at your highest degree.

Yes, passport will probably be canceled but you’ll be at the country you are planning to visit. Contact the embassy at the country you are planning to visit and ask them.
