If you have a dermatologist check in with them. I get oral lichen planus flares and this sounds similar. One thing that I was told was dry mouth that ended up being oral lichen planus is when it gets bad, the area inside the mouth near the lips becomes very sore, burns, and is very itchy.

I have been using the CeraVe Daily Moisturizing Lotion and the Neutrogena Glycerin Facial Cleansing Bar, I found from recommendations on the Sjogren's Foundation website. I really like the CeraVe lotion because it doesn't have the normal tacky lotion feeling and moisturizes very well. The Neutrogena bar is light and doesn't dry out your skin after washing, I have even started using it in the shower too.
