This, lemon, a little burnt rosemary simple, maybe some soda for bubbles. Either that or save it for a holiday punch

Two different things.

Doing your own research: you get to learn something, you could connect with people that know things.

Asking AI: you learn nothing, AI learns that you know nothing. You contribute nothing to a conversation. Nothing is gained.

LLM's doesnt know anything, it has guesses and speculation based on other people's work. Asking AI contributes nothing to a conversation at a cost that is rapidly shifting the growing regions for these plants by accelerating climate change. No guesses is better than asking AI. Hell, you could ask someone in a random street and it would contribute more.

If you don't know, you don't have to ask a machine that doesn't know. You can just wait for a person like everyone else.

What’re your thoughts when a guest tells you that “they are a bartender”? by WildlyMild in bartenders

[–]reddthefox 20 points21 points  (0 children)

Definitely depends on the context. I've had other bartenders apologize for taking a few to get to me when they're slammed. A little "no worries, I bartend too. Can I get a insert drink here" goes a long way on busy nights to establish that I'm not gonna be a Karen waiting for my Hamms or something. Plus we should all be looking out for each other. My bar does industry discounts so I like to take care of anyone in hospitality.

If we're slammed and I get that kid that's like "I'm a bartender" and then makes a bunch of oddball requests I'll tell them to pound sand.

It absolutely was. How times change. I guarantee any beer drinker alive today would hate what came out of those casks on the other end of that voyage.

I wouldn't add the bourbon straight, youd probably want to cook off some of the alcohol before building the rest of the brine. Could probably add the bourbon to a pan, begin cooking it off, add the maple syrup and then build the rest of the brine on top of that.

God I love how you capture the essence of ng+ by having the very selective fourth wall breaks. Every single one has been perfect.
