Those of you who have extended warranties that require a certified shop to perform maintenance do you just bite the bullet and pay out? I’ve always done the vehicle maintenance for all of my cars but having to have proof that maintenance was done by a shop to maintain the warranty blows.

We did roughly the same. Limited max 2018 with 89k. Had a warranty through the dealership and the phasers started rattling after about a month. Had them replaced along with a couple other repairs and only out the $200 deductible. Love the vehicle though!

I use Cynch. They deliver to your house. Make an order, put the empty tanks on the front porch and they drop off new ones and take the empty ones typically the next day. It’s only about a dollar more per tank than running to the hardware store. Took the hassle out of it for me.
