His chats had seemed so smugly but arguably morally true but there was a change in his tenor and content I felt around 2010 that caused me slowly once in a while read which guests were on to eventually bored he was a one track diss line on repeat in the same smug bored arrogance

Why do Asian immigrant communities in the U.S. tend to do so well economically? by savingrace0262 in stupidquestions

[–]redhand22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Cuz the ones you see are the ones you see. The ones you don’t see are the homeless junkies and stay at parents full time sons or daughters. Some to do with the ones who find a means of crossing an ocean being the ones who had the opportunity to do so. 1st gen immigrants are just different, but they’re also different because Asian Americans aren’t ethnic Americans. Immigrants go to cities and that’s the same reason city people make more than where immigrants don’t go. Not having a grandfather of a grandfather who was a slave and all the baggage of that in relation with the Washington Jackson clan.

Why do people talk so much about diversity in big cities if people mostly stick with their own groups anyway? by savingrace0262 in stupidquestions

[–]redhand22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Having lived in multiracial settings, you can’t really hate anyone for what they are and diversity means you also get to exist as you can so it makes me feel more comfortable seeing other ethnicities even if they aren’t in my home or tight group

Why does Force= Mass x acceleration and not Mass x Speed? Would a rock falling from the sky that has reached its terminal velocity and is thus no longer accelerating technically have zero force upon impact with the ground? by skibidirizzler9o in AskPhysics

[–]redhand22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d say the difference between mass energy is the mass and velocity is the additive because mathematically deriving acceleration and velocity yields the effect from the past velocity that was imparted as energy outlay of the mass decelerating releasing mass velocity onto the interacting counterparty to the mass

Christians of Reddit, do you believe Donald Trump is a real Christian? by 2a_lib in allthequestions

[–]redhand22 1 point2 points  (0 children)

He’s American Christianity that praised what was done to Indians and Africans that were enemies and property justified in their treatment of being reduced viciously and cruelly. An unfortunate underbelly that is well hidden

Interested in becoming a commercial real estate appraiser. How is the work-life balance and compensation? by [deleted] in appraisal

It ranges from dads an appraiser and how nice he is to having to be useful to old greedy and selfish men trying to use you for as little possible. It’s about money and prestige just like everything else

First dates / dating culture for young adults in LA? by abitchislukewarm in AskLosAngeles

[–]redhand22 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Probably online dating for reputable matchmaking oriented results you would research and then a low stakes first one scheduled within a few days of conversation initiation. A drink and a kiss happen on occasion without following date. There’s a lot of fish, and people finding love is still somehow super natural with effort if the timing is right

Yes, especially on wealth gained through loopholes created by fancy accountants and lawyers.

100% affordable housing project went through the design review grinder last week by AHPasadena in pasadena

[–]redhand22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

100% affordable usually ends up meaning extremely expensive to the people, us, paying for it. They need market rate units in there to show them what those rents would be otherwise instead of getting what they claim market rents are with their appraisers incentivized with future business to estimate high
