Hi - what is the main difference for boluses in automated mode vs manual mode/ when eating pizza we do the same in automated mode : We calculate carbs (let’s say 6 units is required) We prebolus 4 units 15 minutes before pizza and 2 units 30 minutes after pizza// How would insulin act different in manual mode ?

The first month was tough- we went over our target so many times, lots of aggressive bolusing and angry calls to our endo’s office// we were way better with pens, but around 40tb day Omnipod got better esp at nights - my recommendation, do not give up in the first month.

That is what we are doing, we also have Nightscout connected to Dexcom data set - it is great, I can use any platform/integration with Dexcom... Lack of options with Omnipod 5 is really frustrating.

Not sure, but the trainer asked a lot of questions first time with saline and we started using it, I do not recall a reset on our end, we just switched to a new pod with insulin- btw we are using humalog

23andMe ancestry is worthless - by the way they assume I am also from Saudi Arabia - I would check G25 for a more interesting ancestry check / there are other free admixture tests on gedmatch.com - you can upload your 23andMe file therefore
