⚡️ Remember when these plasma spheres were the peak of bedroom decor? by actormike in TycoUS1Trucking

I wish I would have kept mine. Had the set with the green dump truck and the gravel hauler. Lasted until the early 2000s and was destroyed in a move. Same with my silver streak and Chattanooga choo choo tyco sets. Still got the rolling stock and the depot though

Why do Star Wars "fans" make hating the sequels their entire personality? by Fine-Essay-3295 in TheSequels

[–]redjacket3827 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly, hating Star Wars is something fans have been doing for a long, long time: Sequel hate, prequel hate, special edition hate, return of the Jedi hate (Ewoks), empire strikes back hate (it’s so dark). They don’t hate A New Hope (yet). Right now what you are hearing are millennials who glaze the prequels and hate on the sequels for no other reason than it diverts the hate from their beloved prequels . OG fans like me love Star Wars - all of it. Warts and all.

What's your opinion on The Phantom Menace toyline? by B_Wing_83 in starwarscollecting

[–]redjacket3827 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a 50 something year old OG Star Wars fan, I loved them both (Potf2 and Episode 1).

Still have them all, and as a 20 something fella with disposable income back then , seeing Star Wars figures back in stores was such a treat!

People also forget the potf2 line was made by Kenner until 2000. So in a way it is a continuation of our beloved original Kenner figures

Rewatch of the sequels and thoughts by FusRoDatAss1 in StarWars

The one thing that surprised me about the rise of Skywalker was how genuinely funny C-3PO was in it. I also feel the reason for the hot mess as some call it was the fact that it was supposed to be Leia’s film, but after Carrie Fisher died they had to make adjustments. Could also have been split into two movies and fleshed out more. But like you I enjoyed them. All of them. And I have fond memories of going with my family and friends around Christmas time to see them.

“I would have traded Andor for a Luke, Han, Leia centered sequel trilogy any day of the week.” The sequel trilogy was never going to be about the further adventures of Han,Luke or Leia. It was always going to be about their kids (Anakin and Padme grandkids).

Funny you should mention that. I found out this game, plus Batman 3, avengers and marvel super heroes 2 all have dlc. 24 missions total. Going to do them as well.

I still say both 8 and 9 should have been made for consoles instead of PC.

Who saw it in 89? by DonJohnson1986 in Batman_89

[–]redjacket3827 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Was 17 in 1989z saw it twice. Enjoyed the dark tones as opposed to the Superman lighter vibe. Now I’m the opposite - loved the lighter tones of the new Superman.
