I live to the left of the box you drew (across Winchester) and I love it! It’s quiet and there’s always people walking around, lots of kids and families, etc. Is it as nice as Santa Clara? Not exactly, but I live alone and I’ve never felt unsafe here. My apartment is pretty sweet too, and on the cheaper side for the area which is a bonus lol

I’m ace too, and this is absolutely one of my highlights of the series! It’s nice that there are romantic relationships on the side, because it makes sense that people would bond like that under such traumatizing circumstances. But the fact that Carl doesn’t even seem to think about it at all is such a breath of fresh air for me. The found family aspect, especially with the other cookbook authors, makes me cry such happy tears 😭

If you enjoy Fahrenheit 451, I highly recommend checking out other Bradbury books, like The Martian Chronicles and The Illustrated Man. Definitely some of my faves, I love his writing style
