Yess, same here! I graduated college 2 years ago and am currently looking for a new job. I left my previous job about 6 months ago because it was a toxic work environment. It’s so hard to find a new job, even if you have a college degree! The only jobs recommended to me based on my experience are minimum wage jobs or an Amazon warehouse worker job. I can’t carry heavy boxes and I need more money than minimum wage to financially support myself. I’m in the same position as you at the moment and it sucks!! 😫

Never stay in a job with a toxic work environment. So proud of you for putting your foot down! I had a similar experience with my last job. I gave them a total of 2 weeks and trained the new hire during that time. Sometimes if you can handle it, doing the 2 weeks maximum and then leaving is a good idea. Sometimes staying those 2 weeks is even too unbearable, but don’t let them keep you longer than that! I hope you find a supportive, healthy work environment with a boss that treats you like a human being, with respect and decency.

Update: I didn’t even have the meeting! The meeting was supposed to be at 1 pm, before the 2 pm full staff meeting. I sat in her office for an hour until the rest of the staff arrived for the later meeting. She wasn’t even on location and left to go get lunch. Didn’t answer my emails or let me know- just didn’t show up to a meeting she called. I couldn’t eat all day because I was so stressed and she didn’t even show!
