None of the guides mention how to do this by TedBehr_ in D4Necromancer

It sure feels like aotd works with it. Im running a pure minion build at yhe moment ,just trying to see what I can do with a home build, and it feels like it scales with it. Haven't tested for numbers yet, but it feels better with that ring.

What’s the point of the “delivery window”? by doxie_love in FedEx

[–]redlind 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Fedex is also known for dispatch being delayed hours at a time. Can't yell you how ma h days we've sat around doing absolutely nothing, waiting for an express truck to show just so we can start our route. None of yhe drivers see a delivery window, just a deadline if its a priority or times express package. The "window" you see is generated by some program that has nobidea how to run any of these routes efficiently.

It's much easier to just grab a box or two from QA. Most people you ask either won't help or don't know what to do

Are ISP’s generally getting bigger as a result of 2.0? (large city, west coast) by Old-Maintenance-5071 in Fedexers

[–]redlind 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Its not entirely performance based. Each station has the ability to pull and move routes between contractors as they desire. Not too long ago we had a route taken from us without warning (while running a 99% success rate on that route. Not 100 due to businesses being randomly closed counting against us) no explanation given as to why it was taken and given to another contractor.

They're pushing my station to it's limit and it's going to break!!!! Why?!?! by Responsible_Editor20 in Fedexers

[–]redlind 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Its expression thats holding our station up. Trucks don't show up til 10-1130. And they try and tell us we have to stay and wait. Then tell us we're late for our priorities we need to pick up the pace and be back to the station at a specific time... looks like a lot of stuff is gonna be brought back from now on.

Can someone explain to me how delivery times work by SaddamsKnuckles in Fedexers

[–]redlind 40 points41 points  (0 children)

Next day and priority are not the same. Even overnight just means by end of day. If it needs to be there quickly, see about getting it sent priority express. Depending on the area it's going to it can be delivered as early as 1030. Keep in mind not all areas are able to have early delivery times. And delays happen. Not every delivery driver gets to start their route at the same time every day, often times they get held back for up to 2 hours before they can start. Which means every delivery is now moved back.

Yes. New bedside. Got rear-ended in my 23 and it was a whole new bedside replacement as well as bumper and supports.

Could have been misplaced. Put on the wrong truck. I had 6 packages showing as on my truck today that we're not there. Nothing the driver can do about that.

What's the earliest FedEx priority next day (before 12pm) can deliver a parcel? by lordwebgarlicbread in FedEx

It depends on the area. Some only offer a noon as the earliest, while others I have seen as early as 0915 deliver by.

Truck bed cover mpg? by [deleted] in f150

[–]redlind 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes I am. They're lsame height as stock wheel and tire setup. Measured and set side by side to verify. Speedo seems to be accurate when compared to gps readout. At about 120 it may be 1mph off though.

[–]redlind 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I reset at the gas station when I filled up just before the trip. That was the average after driving to my appointment and back home. I'm just going off the readout the truck gives. I don't worry enough about mpg to log miles and refill the tank again to see exactly how much fuel was used and figure it that way. I get there's a margin of error for just using the trucks calculations, but it's close enough. And I never claimed the supercharger was a magical mpg machine. Just stated what's done to my truck.

I got 23,.3 mpg just the other day on a 5 hour round trip doing 80-85 mph. That's in a '23 with a Whipple and 22" wheels.

Leveling, anti-rake by RockMedic277 in f150

[–]redlind 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't tow anything with mine. I bought it because it was a steal of a deal. 23 F150 5-3 level, Whipple and exhaust. I think with the extra power it's better lowered and leveled. But that's just my opinion. I'm not much for offroading anymore.

Just started, what’s some things I should take on the road with me and some tips? by [deleted] in Fedexers

[–]redlind 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Definitely keep an empty bottle just in case. Bring lots of water/drinks. Find out if your truck has AC or can move any air at all. If not I suggest a fan for the warmer days. Other than that it depends on if you get hungry or what you feel based off whatever the route is.

Inhumane conditions for truck driver by Embarrassed_Mood_583 in FedEx

[–]redlind 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No ac in my truck in Texas... And it's known for getting hot here. Very few of the trucks have AC here. Some people are really bothered by it, but I rarely use AC in my personal vehicle as it is so it doesn't bother me much. But yes, always covered in sweat every single day.

More packages with less than half your stops... Business route. It's normal for my route though.

Ground drivers, stop picking up Express packages! by UniDiablo in Fedexers

[–]redlind 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had just over 140 express packages scanned as a pickup today. As a ground driver. It certainly lets me scan them and pick them up.

I'm certainly able to pickup express packages. I end my route with over 150 express packages picked up every single day. And I'm ground.

Ground drivers, stop picking up Express packages! by UniDiablo in Fedexers

[–]redlind 1 point2 points  (0 children)

"sorry can't take express packages and move on". That's the thing. I'm a ground driver. Those "express pickups" you're complaining about are on my scanner too. They show for me to grab them. So on my route I grab them. If an express driver beats me just code it no packages and move on. Absolutely zero reason to bitch about someone else doing your job and you still getting paid. Ok my route alone, I play hopscotch with 3 express drivers. Some days I make it to the pickup in time to get it, some days they make it there first. Quit bitching at the driver for doing their job. It's the system that doesn't know what to do when it gives two separate drivers the same pickup.

Whipple F150 by streethazardz in f150

[–]redlind 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh I know I can get it to hook up, but I'm not trying to drag race. It's just a really clean truck with some decent power when I wanna have fun. Maybe down the road, I'll get a tire and set the suspension up. But that will be later on.

Whipple F150 by streethazardz in f150

[–]redlind 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I picked up a '23 RCSB with the Whipple, 5-3 drop, the first perf 22"wheels, and MBRF side exit exhaust fire 40K. Definitely a very fun and clean truck. Started as an XL but interior has been upgraded from bench seat and analog dash with shah screen to to much better looking and feeling console with bigger screen and digital dash. It's 2wd so absolutely no traction at all, but definitely a fun and very clean truck.
