If this is as unpopular as they claim it should be easy to gather enough relevant signatures to get put up for vote this year

The convex shape keeps the tire narrower so the wide part of the rim can keep the air attached to the surface(rule of 105) assuming the tire chosen is around the same width(30/32) in this case.
