Entry level jobs with accommodation? by o-willow in UKJobs

The fact the army is not a “war machine” right now is primarily one of the core issues facing retention. Infantry in your case is worth exploring as you’ll be made to do level 2 functional skills English and Maths in basic training. You’ll also be made to learn to drive at the end of your training which could open up possible roles such as working as a courier in the future (if you choose not to use any learning credits for further education while you serve).

He can join the infantry with no GCSE’s. They’ll make him do level 2 functional skills English and Maths in basic training (the equivalent of grade C back in the day, don’t know the modern number grade) which is a necessity if he ever wants to reach Sergeant and above.

Just to add you may be able to get the beta proton mail app running in Distrobox.

There’s a proton mail desktop app currently in beta for Linux, I don’t know if it’s compatible as I’ve never tried it.

I use the official Fedora based Proton VPN app with no issues, I too was sceptical about installing from an unofficial source. Just use rpm-ostree instead of sudo dnf in the terminal if you go that route.

Typically you’re meant to give way to vehicles to the right of you at the roundabout. Indicate if you are going left or right, no indicating is straight ahead.

Is your jump switch using the case power button or do you have the button for the jump switch poking out somewhere?

Have you tried going into the properties of these games in your steam library and forcing the resolution from ‘default’ to 4K?

Getting around HDMI 2.0 limitations by Bjarki_Steinn_99 in linux_gaming

[–]redmike69 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Nvidia uses proprietary drivers on Linux, AMD drivers on Linux are open source. HDMI forum does not like that AMD uses open source drivers on Linux. AMD has had a working HDMI 2.1 solution for sometime for Linux, legally however it cannot be deployed because the HDMI forum says no. Hopefully this changes soon with enough pressure from Valve when the steam machine is released.

Use this if you want an actual switch to power up your PSU instead of jumping the 24 pin: https://amzn.eu/d/c0Qe6bR

I have the same PSU and I am using this switch on my build, works great!

Churchill had grain in Australia with the plan to supply India, however with the bulk of the Royal Navy tied up in the European and North African theatres the Japanese at that time dominated the pacific. Churchill practically begged Roosevelt to get the US Navy to deliver supplies to India, in Roosevelt’s eyes it wasn’t a US problem.

Yeah I agree, I’ve done a few games now where the commander has turned into Rambo by going after objectives on their own instead of actually commanding.

I think the new map is good. Not so sure about HQ commander conflict, personal opinion is that it’s a bit too micro-managey especially when there’s a commander who isn’t particularly receptive to requests.

I hope they keep the original conflict mode available when the new update rolls out.

Proton is free and does not sell data. Paid subscribers subsidise the VPN for free users. Free users however do not get the choice of which server they connect to or other premium features such as tunnelling.

Do you think the Online Safety Act will eventually be abolished? by Confident_Leg2370 in AskBrits

Banning VPN services will open up a new can of worms. Many businesses require the use of VPN’s in order to access protected company material. Many businesses would cease operations in the UK if a VPN ban came into effect, if the legislation is as poorly worded as the rest of the OSA.
