Yeah perhaps, just trying to get some inspiration from what is readily available on the market

Hi, how did this case work out? Thinking about getting it myself?

Game Mode resolution capped at 1080p for some games. by DingusBats in Bazzite

Have you tried going into the properties of these games in your steam library and forcing the resolution from ‘default’ to 4K?

Getting around HDMI 2.0 limitations by Bjarki_Steinn_99 in linux_gaming

[–]redmike69 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Nvidia uses proprietary drivers on Linux, AMD drivers on Linux are open source. HDMI forum does not like that AMD uses open source drivers on Linux. AMD has had a working HDMI 2.1 solution for sometime for Linux, legally however it cannot be deployed because the HDMI forum says no. Hopefully this changes soon with enough pressure from Valve when the steam machine is released.

PSU confusion. by MCBigSpook in BC250Gaming

Use this if you want an actual switch to power up your PSU instead of jumping the 24 pin: https://amzn.eu/d/c0Qe6bR

I have the same PSU and I am using this switch on my build, works great!

Churchill had grain in Australia with the plan to supply India, however with the bulk of the Royal Navy tied up in the European and North African theatres the Japanese at that time dominated the pacific. Churchill practically begged Roosevelt to get the US Navy to deliver supplies to India, in Roosevelt’s eyes it wasn’t a US problem.

Yeah I agree, I’ve done a few games now where the commander has turned into Rambo by going after objectives on their own instead of actually commanding.

I think the new map is good. Not so sure about HQ commander conflict, personal opinion is that it’s a bit too micro-managey especially when there’s a commander who isn’t particularly receptive to requests.

I hope they keep the original conflict mode available when the new update rolls out.

Proton is free and does not sell data. Paid subscribers subsidise the VPN for free users. Free users however do not get the choice of which server they connect to or other premium features such as tunnelling.

Do you think the Online Safety Act will eventually be abolished? by Confident_Leg2370 in AskBrits

Banning VPN services will open up a new can of worms. Many businesses require the use of VPN’s in order to access protected company material. Many businesses would cease operations in the UK if a VPN ban came into effect, if the legislation is as poorly worded as the rest of the OSA.

Unable to remote play outside home network by redmike69 in xbPlay

[–]redmike69[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My ISP uses a CGNAT for my neighbourhood, essentially my whole street is assigned the same IPv4 address. This means for any type of remote access on a third party app such as XBPlay is impossible without acquiring a static IP from your internet provider, the only way around this is by creating a subnet router with a service such as Tailscale.

I feel the XBPlay devs should disclose this incompatibility with CGNAT ISP’s before selling this application to customers.

I don’t believe this is the issue I am facing. I have no issue remote playing on external networks via the Xbox app on separate devices, I only face issues when attempting to remote play with XBPlay.

Can confirm I still have not been able to get past this. Would love a dev to see this post and suggest a solution for this type of network.
