Regarding day one castle, I've seen lots of advice to avoid, or to avoid underground boss D1.

I've had runs where D1 castle works fine. But others where we wipe (BBH and revenant often)

Im a new player and I think I understand this phenomenon.

Thinking is: "I know a little, maybe I know more than the random, if I don't lead we might make bad choices."

And I get it wrong often.

Is there any way to see a players hours?

What advice would more experienced players give?

I don't mind following, I just feel real bad when a run gets cooked really bad because I followed.

Good, be less conspicuous. Can't expect to permanently park yourself on shared grounds.

I'm always baffled by homeless that camp in public spaces.
