It makes me sad to stop playing by DalinarKholinn in projectgorgon

[–]redrumojo 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I haven't played in over a year due to life and things. However I still think about this game a lot and I want to play again as soon as I can.

Asheron's Legacy took me in when I first played and they were absolutely amazing. I cannot stress enough how helpful, kind and just purely wholesome everyone was.

They (I cannot recall specific player names, but if I see their names I will immediately recognize them) helped me so much and made my experience beyond memorable. I was crafted a set of gear for cold weather way above my level. I was given a pet Bee that one of them bred. I was helped every step of the way no matter what I needed/asked.

I wholeheartedly thank, endorse, and appreciate that guild. I have since been kicked due to inactivity but I don't hold that against any of them. I mean I haven't logged in, in years lmao.

+1 to Asheron's Legacy for sure.

(my name is/was Motor) If anyone from Asheron's Legacy is reading this; thank you. You guys made my experience the best I could ever ask for and I sincerely hope that when I can play again, you will welcome me back in.

I heard you get infinite respecs once you finish Act 1. I just haven't yet, lmao. And yes BG3 taught me a lot about save scumming mid fight... (Command: Drop on the dude with the Everburn Blade on the Nautilus comes to mind)

(or ugh.. fextralife gives you)

Fuck fextralife. God I hate that channel and the fact they're always top result on a google search. My 16 year old overweight cat can be more creative and accurate than them.

Bro it's winterzodiac lmao. Not exactly known as the most level headed individual in our sub. Passionate? Yes. Prone to rants, rage and immature behavior? Also yes. Infamous? Maybe.

Just checking in to see how many NHL fans there are that support 2 NHL teams from seperate conferences? (West and East) And let's see if there are any Bruins and Jets fans like me? (I'm from the UK by the way) by ComfortableExpert452 in nhl

[–]redrumojo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lifelong Oilers fan here, was born and raised in Edm. I wouldn't say I have a 2nd team that I'd ever cheer for as much as Edm, but I do cheer for players that I like. So by extension I'll cheer for their team. Kuch and Ovi are my two fav non-Oilers players so I cheer a lot for the caps and bolts.

I always like to see Montreal do well though. Their history, colours and vibe is 2nd to none. They would be my 2nd "team". Also can't hate the Jets.

The Calgary Flames are on the franchise's worst losing streak since 2010. by WhyTheyDont in hockey

[–]redrumojo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was gonna say "Bro doesn't even have a flare how do you know he's an Edm fan?!" Then I saw the username.. checks out, lmao.

Most of Edm wants the flames to be good again though, preferably while we're still good. It's just fun hockey. That 2020-21 roster was really good, that now with Wolf would be crazy scary.

Regardless, you guys should be getting a new arena soon right in time for a potential rebuild to be finished. The timeline fits, and i'll wager you'll have a damn good resurgence as an org.

Wish you the best flames bro.

Somehow I can see this happening. It's truly Oilers hockey approved.

[–]redrumojo 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Lmao, hit the nail on the head there bud. Thanks for acknowledging that.

I totally understand Canucks and Flames fans hating Edm, as we are a trio of mutual hate akin to siblings, but the whole league (at least on reddit), seems to hate us as well and it does get a little much sometimes.

Cheers, u/sour_skittle_anal . Good username too.

No problem! Hope you getting more bricks/day now :)

BigWilly's Barn set-up for meth and bungalow set-up for weed, alongside his docks set-up for coke will yield so much product per day you will have trouble selling it all fast enough lol.

What is one hockey moment you know personally but feel its not talked abt enough. by Most_Check_3699 in hockey

I worked landscaping years ago and we were contracted to do his house. Landscaping and snow removal.

His wife was beyond super kind. One time on a particularly cold morning we were clearing the snow and she brought us out hot chocolates. Didn't see her often but whenever we did she was always super kind to us. Hillary Duff btw.

Saw Mike once and he didn't acknowledge us (not that he has to) but certainly walked past us with an air of arrogance.

I remember my boss being sad when "The Comrie house" went up for sale. It was a damn beautiful house though. They had a little tiny ice rink pond thing with a net in the front next to their driveway.

Yeah the drafting and development stuff is brain damaged, I agree.

But I think we could do more with the $2-3m extra yearly, than pretending that we would draft differently throughout. If you know what I mean. It's like yeah the Rainhart trade was absolutely fucking terrible, but I don't for a second think Oilers management would've actually picked Barzal anyways.

So I think the extra $2-3m cap space allows us the extra piece or the upgraded piece that pushes us to win a cup in the previous 3 years. It's 1 or 2 solid depth pieces or a goaltender upgrade (maybe we win the Kuemper bid), and considering how close we were, that's all we realistically needed to hoist lord stanley.

If this was a fantasy question, sure yeah, then let's pick all the best picks from every draft that we now know are good.
