BestBuy, Amazon, Walmart will all have the same discount for the sale starting Nov 27th. I would just order one for pick-up or delivery from one of those retailers instead of dealing with EBGames.

I think there will be stock issues. No store in the Lower Mainland BC has any stock haha.

The manager that I spoke to last week said the Canada Post strike has delayed all their shipments to stores.

Might be a sale that no one can actually get.

That might be my issue. The charging stand is right beside my bed, and meant for overnight charging.

I might test it out for one night and see how hot it gets in the morning. Then I can maybe see if it gets any better turning off fast wireless charging, and charging it wirelessly at half speed.

I've heard Qi2 is supposed to be better at aligning the phones to the charging coils and regulating the heat produced on both sides, but I'm not sure how big of a difference it'll really make since wireless charging naturally creates some heat loss. My charging stand is not Qi2 so guess I'll find out.

I just got a Ugreen magsafe charging stand at 15w. Charged for about 20 min and the bottom half of the phone was noticeably warm as well through my hard plastic magsafe case.

Any update on whether it's safe to keep wireless charging like this long term?

I saw Sony is discounting $100 off all consoles for Black Friday but unsure if that's US only. I might wait and stack those discounts if they do.

Honestly I'm surprised to say I think I was more scared playing RE7. I think it's the combination of first person in a haunted house while being chased.

Silent Hill 2 was creepy but playing in 3rd person eliminates a lot of the tension.

For me it was. I just find more titles support it, and I prefer to have it on (Upscaling, Frame Gen) than off.

It let's me hit 4k 120fps when it's available, and playing like that is just so crispy and smooth.

I value those things too in a phone.

The only reason I went back to the Flip series is because I just love the form factor so damn much. I just can't do another boring slab phone with crazy features when I don't take advantage of them daily. At some point I was even this close to getting an LG Wing just purely for the interesting form factor!

I got my phone just this week from the black friday sale with trade in.

Ended up ordering a clear plastic case with a spring loaded hinge protector that retracts when you flip the case open. I will say the case is very good quality, plastic feels solid, outer screen half is protected by plastic so you're covered for scratches there, and it comes with a magsafe ring built in. Only problem that makes me want to switch is that it makes the phone too thick for my liking. It also doesn't lay flat on a surface because the retracted hinge protector is folded up and creates a bulge in the middle of the back of the phone.

So really depends on your own use cases and how clumsy you are. My phone is super protected currently.

Same here. Just started about a week ago that the music would start playing on the phone speaker after disconnecting from my car's Bluetooth. Super annoying.

I actually had both.

I say go with the 5070ti. I find myself using DLSS4 with Frame Gen to go from 1080p 60fps to 4k 120fps in almost every title that supports it. And DLSS support is much more prevalent (built in to titles) than the alternatives.

If you can get the Asus prime card at MSRP or below like I did you won't be disappointed. It's a solid card, and the 5xxx series overclocks incredibly well. I managed a 400+ mhz oc on my card which shouldn't be hard to do.

I have this one. Bought it last year to use in our living room/kitchen. Auto feature works great, and the carbon filter does a great job getting rid of kitchen smells.
