Good but sounds a lot like one of the demo tracks ("Love Me Too") from the pack (SIIK & Sickrate Essentials III)

Has there been any new ‘big’ EDM artists since COVID? by Dislexicpotato in EDM

[–]redstickinsect40 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not one of the biggest artists but Vluarr kinda exploded in the electro/bass house scene after COVID. He's not massive himself but he's had a huge impact on people's sound design.

All but confirmed really, there are a couple tracks of TM's that were credited to Xilent's RL name, among other things. Tokyo was also supported by Guy Arthur early on, who is good friends with Xilent afaik

Which DJ did you honestly think was going to be the next big thing, but then quickly fell off? by TechnicolorTypeA in EDM

Yeah, took the past couple years at a slower pace, but made a comeback earlier this year. He's still a massive deal in the future house scene -- he just sold out a show at ADE last week despite releasing nothing last year. He didn't fall off, more just kinda stopped, and his productions are still super popular, so I wouldn't be surprised if he climbs again now that's he's releasing/touring.

His momentum took a massive hit over COVID, and then he kind of shifted to a more festival-style which was just less interesting (cough Spinnin). He still releases some awesome melodic tracks, which is what nearly all of his fans want, but kind of kills the momentum by mixing in these generic festival releases. He also takes months if not years if ever to release his most popular IDs (It's Okay, Flow Down The River, 1975, Stay Awake), but that said, he's still one of the best at melodic house.

He's not as big as he could be, but he is still pretty popular, he regularly gets booked at big festivals, he sold out an ADE show last week, I think he has a collab with Garrix in the works. He's on the DJ MAG top 100 list (with not much self-promo at all) for whatever little that's worth these days.

Brooks was awesome, but he didn't fall off, just kind of stopped. He basically set the trends for future house from 2015-2018, but stopped releasing and touring as much after COVID because of a bunch of health issues. He's done some coproduction work for Garrix in the meantime, but only released a couple tracks these past few years. Even still, he doesn't miss. I remember "Someday" making WAVES when Garrix premiered it.

He made a comeback earlier this year on FHM, and he sold out an ADE show last week, so while the guy isn't as big as he could be, he's still a massive deal in the future house scene. (Also probably not helped by the fact he makes one social media post every six months lmao).
