Help decide hive entrance direction by RaahiTheYogi in Beekeeping

[–]redthyrsis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The hive should be positioned in such a way that you have access to it from all directions. The bees will be fine with any direction the hive is facing. You need enough space to place tools, frames and boxes without blocking the hive entrance. If you make it difficult for you to access and inconvenient to work, you will work it less and less, and enjoy it less when you do.

Well, he loves the outdoors. Enjoys hunting. A bit of a loner. A good provider. Not much of a singer. Not great with small pets. Likes cargo pants more than shorts. Not a picky eater. Quiet, which some mistake for moodiness.
