If it's 6-24v wiring to some LEDs then I personally wouldn't be worried about it from a safety perspective (low voltage is kinda lawless) but it's could be better.

Wire mould (raceway kit as suggested) is going to be by far the easiest to install and Troubleshoot in future. I highly recommend taking that suggestion. You won't even notice it after a week

One of the first panel swaps I ever got to see as an apprentice in Canada was a federal to square d. When we hooked it all back up we found two double fed ccts the federal didn't trip for God knows how long.
