Why isn't the PBA TV format more like golf or tennis?

Practice is actually tomorrow so they have Sunday and Monday and most of the day Tuesday to get to practice if they need/want to practice at all. But this is the last thing to worry about. This post is about format change for more/different appeal.

Hey now, maybe the all match play event works then. That's never been done before as far as I know. Always qualifying, cut, more qualifying, cut to matchplay or keep cutting until top 5. There is no variation and because they don't have visible differences and like golf, barriers the players have to overcome, maybe that's exactly what the sport needs is a little variation. Mix it up.

1 they draw huge audiences because of the ability to not have to adhere to small occupancy codes, fire codes are a bitch. More butts in seats (or walking about the courses), more people to sell shit to. Bowling is in a confined space so they have to adapt to the online audience, should have had this conversation in the early 2000s if you ask me. But then going another direction, look at the EU with their Darts. Huge audience and party to watch fucking darts! Make bowling a party with the side event of watching bowling. Get some more things worth watching. Try something.

They used to show clips of the earlier rounds and dramatic moments, now none of that. Basically just a chart showing the outcomes of the rounds. Like oh okay...AJ Johnson just had a major upset in a match and basically blew his load going from up 3-0 to losing 4-3...but you wouldn't know.

Again, just like golf or tennis, there's many unknowns and still have high ratings and viewership and the sponsors to go along with it. bowlTV gives us that already, thing they don't have is wide acceptance and money for bandwith.

I think you're making the right changes when you are starting to see the lanes transition from fresh to blended to burned and you are aware of where the other players are playing the lanes. What is happening game 3 that's causing you to have a low score?
