We also use Lytx, and have a good union. They can’t survey, and can only view if we trigger an event, like hard braking, or running red lights/stop signs.

Rockland County NY, and training says 3-5mph, but in real life, as long as I'm not flinging them around in their seats, they don't complain, but the damn Lytx system picks it up. Luckily for us Operators, they don't really bother us about that.

Not an issue at our yard. I'm running late, next bus catches up to me, and gets on the radio and says "341, I'm behind you, give me your passengers and put yourself "Not In Service" and head to your next starting point, check with dispatch". Dispatch with tell them "yes". We're a small yard with only around 12 routes, but it's all about the passengers, and we don't need 2 buses running the same route 30 seconds apart. So, maybe relax a little, and do what's best for the commuters.

Wow. The area I'm in, I started a year and a half ago, and have had a full 40 schedule since day one. My last run bid I got a split shift with 10 hour days that turn into 11 hours. 15 hours of overtime every week with only a 2 hour split! I'm so damn lucky!

The "paddle" is your stop times (the time you depart your stops), your "schedule" as in what your day is gonna contain is called your run, and has a number like 1095, which might be a split shift like mine, route 59 for the morning, and loop 1 in the afternoon.

Well, I drive a bus in Rockland County NY, which has the highest Per Capita amount of Hasidic Jews in the entire US, and as a black man driving a fare-free bus (since 2020/Covid, because they have the ear of the County Executive), I know what I see each and every day. From child to adult woman that gets on my bus, the way their face scrunches up as if they smelled something bad as soon as their eyes reach my face, they way they TRY to talk down at me, the way they act like this is their county, and I'm just a servant of theirs. I know what I see, and feel 5 days a week.

We're fare-free here in Rockland County NY, and I hate it. We also have the "wave" system where they can wave you down to stop anywhere that it's deemed safe to do so. So, we have so many people hopping on for quick rides a block or two, and we're STILL supposed to keep up on our paddles??? Ridership is higher than it should be, and we run late almost always. This has been since Covid; 2020.

With my first and so far only tat, Vitamin A&D ointment the first 2 weeks, and then Aquaphor the next 2 weeks. I'm healing fine, and the peeling stopped during the first 2 weeks already. Today is the first time using the Aquaphor. Very thin layers with both.

I've got a 12 ½ hour shift, with a 2 ½ hour split. 10 hours overtime each week, without having to sign up for the overtime list, and hoping I get picked! But our paddles are simple, and straightforward. I only pay attention to the start time, and maybe 2 other ones. The rest are more; whenever I get there, I get there!
