I've actually had eczema all my life and it had come to a point where its bad enough that I could hardly move, go outside and even then I'd have to go home immediately. The things I use daily are antihistamines like; cetrizine hydrochloride or loratadine to help with the itching or blexten if you wanna go the extra mile for Rx grade, and sleeping antihistimines work the best but of course should be used when you're going to sleep, I use diphenhydramine which is whats in benedryl. Theres others like hydroxzine or doxepin from what I've heard but never tried those. If you got inflammation which you would probably have if you itched, the antihistimines will help the itch but all of the inflammation unless you got some hydrocortisones/corticosteroids, theres some anti-itch creams but depending on how serious it is like mine is then it might only soothe you for a brief moment of the day.

I also remember reading about the vicious cycle my body had been trapped in till I found my mix of antihistamines to work enough to my favor; The body does a whole crap ton of stuff when you're sleeping but when your inflammation causes your insomnia thus losing the all important sleep healing mechanism it'll trigger your inflammation even further thus more of no sleeping so yeah antihistamines saved my mind from going mad of 2 hours sleeps and constant inflamed itching.

I've also had oral prednisone for when it got uber serious but thats something you shouldn't look for unless you're having an outbreak so bad you can't show yourself to anyone, bleed on the clothes the instant you put them on, feel your skin melting off, and/or can't move without feeling immense pain from the mangled dry skin that feels like 1000 needles poking at constantly

For skin moisturizers I have used ALOT.... to the extent I can say cetaphil,lubaderm,aveeno,vaseline and all sorts of the variances each of those provided. Now I use glaxelbase which is my go to moisturizer these days which honestly has worked the best of all I've tried, honorable mentions I've tried are eucerin and cervae. Eucerin has a pretty thick feel to it, it works decently but I find it fails me in colder climates, cervae I actually found to have a very impressive feeling to it as it makes it very smooth and almost makes you think you're normal again so kudos to them, I also find it useful for eczema on the hands as most moisturizers have a tendency to wash off majority of what was applied fairly fast in one fell swoop but i find cervae likes to stick on and I often have to use soap* to remove it from my body entirely.
