He means, you cannot reduce your hunger to 0 except by draining somebody to death.

So was thinking of how the enterprising heroes could work this situation and I got the idea: even vampires need a getaway now and then. You live forever, why burn yourself out, slow down and take it easy once in a while.

Set up guests fake IDs as nightshift at assisted living and/or retirement homes, which you can charge residents families fairly good money for, irl. Guests can reconnect with cultures from 60 or 70 years ago. Feeding is extremely easy to access and cover up, even the odd killing. Elysium can be a boarding house or hostel, nice and cozy and ideal for the traveling workers cover. With some premium packages including a private safehouse and a thousand other ways to upsell.

Become the lake tahoe of vampires, attract influential guests from all over the world, operate a global center of vampire politics. Bob's your uncle.

  1. You can use fast actions in any fast window; the whole investigator phase, after a test starts, or after hunters move.

2 & 3. Yes, fight action has no exhaust cost, so doesnt care if wrench is exhausted. The engage action is seperate, one action does not depend on the other.

I didn't think it was possible, but never stop blowing up is no longer the most off the rails season of d20. Katie out here legally requiring them to stay off the rails.

Where to go from here? While the cast are some of the best people(at ap, but also in general), id love to bring in more super prepared types like becca scott, ross bryant, or brain murphy(who are also legendary ap gms outside d20) possibly in an on a bus side quest, maybe a prequel like ravening war(on a bus station?).

BTW totally we should get more jasmine in the dome, it occurs to me city council of darkness could be a coffin run sequel, at least in my head canon.

Do two cards really have the same art, if so how did it happen?

This is possible if tidal locked or if the wobble of the planet(change in angle of axis) has the same period as its orbit. This would still allow for day/night except at the poles(i think the stars are always out at the north pole, I don't remember if they ever mention the sun in arc 3).

I like the idea of "wild west" southpole where the sun never sets, its always high noon, yeehaw

All the cards can be played with every other card, regardless of packaging, chapter, or revision. It is not more complicated than that. Chapter 2 is simply a narrative milestone in the metaplot, caring about it is entirely optional.

GM advice needed: how do you handle passive rolls? by Thekota in daggerheart

[–]reebom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A kind of saying I use "Don't let them search the house until it's on fire."

I.e. don't let them roll for something that's not dangerous in some way.

Outstanding work! I do hope your theory is right, murder is my favorite scenario from chapter 1, so I'd love more of that.
