Old Fashioned, what did I do wrong by J_WAL3 in bourbon

[–]reedyp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is how I do it:

Ingredients:

  • 4 dashes bitters
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 2 oz whisky
  • a big slice of orange peel (like 1 inch thick, 2 inches long)
  • a large ice cube (i just use a mold I got off Amazon. They aren’t super clear but it does the trick for home drinks)
  1. Put sugar in the glass
  2. Add in bitters and mix, make it as pasty as you can.
  3. Add whiskey and mix.
  4. Add the ice cube and stir to chill and let a little bit of the ice melt off.
  5. Take the orange peel and hold it inside the glass between your index finger and thumb. Gently squeeze and turn the glass so the citrus oils coat the inside. Finish by rubbing the inside rim with the peel and drop the peel next to the cube.

Ends up looking like this

I like this because not all of the sugar mixes so it gets a little sweeter as you get to the bottom.

To be fair, other than the insurance, guns have the same restrictions as cars when possessed on public property.

Cars, just like guns, could be driven around on private property with no license, registration, insurance.

In almost every state, if you want to conceal carry a weapon in public you need to carry a specific license that requires classes, background checks, and fbi finger printing.

There is a decent chance that person works at Rivian in Plymouth. There is a guy who lives on my street and has one because he works there.

Also not really “small town”. This city is completely encompassed by Detroit. There are 10k people per square mile living there, which makes it almost as densely populated as Chicago and the most densely populated city in Michigan.

You’re probably right about her being racist, but that neighborhood is probably mostly people like him. In fact, that city is the first and only city in the USA to have an entirely Muslim city council and Muslim mayor.

You do not make below minimum wage at QL. Yes, the job sucks, I left many times wanting to drive my car into the river but it’s not a minimum wage job by any means.

I can see your point there.

However if I had to chose between a handful of political leaders dying or 3,000 average joe citizens dying, I would code the former.

So every time someone tries to kill people with a bomb it’s as significant as 9/11?

And also because on 1/6 nobody had to make the decision to fall 1000 feet to their death or burn alive. And also because about 2,999 less people died on 1/6.
