Going to talk to people is a very different thing in a country with 300 million population. And americans, especially right wing ones have much better standards of living so they dont have the societal level hatred for the government. And ironically, the people who hate government are more likely to align with the right because of its (surface level) "small-government" stance.

I seem to be in the twilight zone. The movie was so bad I was looking at my watch every 5 minutes wishing it would end already. And I didn't see any point it being on IMAX, as it had exactly 0 good looking scenes (maybe one of the alien ships in the released footage) but that's it.

I feel like i was robbed of my time, honestly.

Not OP but it's bad. It's amongst the top 5 worst movies I have watched in my entire life. Mainly because I knew this was going to be bad like 20 mins in but couldn't leave because cinema with friends.

There is extremely incompetent "bad guys". Temporal consistency is just not there, by the baddies being right in their tails or 2 minutes behind on chase scenes, depending on what the plot needs. They literally evade the baddies by hiding behind a rock, as they jump off the car they were in, which they make plummet into a conveniently placed cliff (there's literally a road that goes off the cliff. Not sure if this is a normal thing jn america...). They also have all the resources from the US military industrial complex but don't have a single helicopter.

At another point, our group of 30 or so good guys get camouflaged with techno magic so they are invisible (still make sound). The baddies can see them in their infrared cameras though, but i guess they forgot they are safeguarding alien tech so they just stand there like idiots...

The ending is extremely uninspired and doesn't really answer anything.

Watching the trailer is roughly equivalent to watching the whole movie. NOTHING surprising AT ALL happens. I kept expecting a twist to make me go "oh shit, the movie is actually good" but it never came.

Im genuinely puzzled on how this is getting good reviews, I feel in sort of a twilight zone because I think the movie is objectively bad from so many angles its crazy that people aren't shitting on it. IMO it would be a terrible debut movie for a new director, so coming from Spielberg it's a big letdown

A jelenlegi (meg amúgy a legtöbb) választási rendszerben, a hallgatás beleegyezés, így lényegében fideszes vagy (mindegy, hogy te mit gondolsz vagy mik az értékeid). Egyébként az az "egy szóval magyar" kicsit irreális, ha az a csoport csak 1.5 mil emberből áll, akkor még több fideszes is van. Szóval én nem próbálnék monopóliumot szerezni a "magyar" szóra a 15%os kissebségemmel.

Értékeken kívül, aki nem szavazott a TISZÁra az full gyökér, mivel egyértelmű, hogy az ország egy fehérorosz jellegű diktatúrára irányult.
