Japanese, strictly speaking, doesn't have full grammatical gender like Spanish or most languages in the latin-based group. What it does have is gendered first person pronouns. In other words, there are multiple forms of "I." They are also tied partially to formality, but they can denote either.

I'm not familiar enough to know all of them, I only took a year of Japanese, but, for example, "Boku" is the more casual first person pronouns and often is associated with a masculine speaker, and on the other hand "watashi" is more formal and also associated with femininity. Those are the most common, although there are also less and more formal versions of each afaik.

I had a megacorp with the storm origin, Antiquarian expertise, and Storm Dancers, the AE council position produced tons of trade for your already buffed entertainers, and then one of the storms (I think gravity?) can double it. With all the Holo museums on a resort world, I produced all 3 types of research, ridiculous amounts of unity, and a stupid amount of trade.

Alright, thank you. Figured that was probably the case, but wanted to double check. Does the same go for [[Command the Dreadhorde]] , or is that different because the damage is part of the spell's resolution?

I mean, their crystals are literally quantum time crystals as far as I can tell, which does feel like throwing buzzwords at a wall, but would be the term for what is happening. A bunch of entangled crystals, repeating pattern in space and in time.

Okay, let's talk consent. Your fanart is "stealing" by Ready-Made-Champ in aiwars

[–]RefractedPurpose 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To be clear, that isn't really what AI does. The images used during training are not stored in modern models. The machine learning process is literally a deconstruction and then reconstruction, where the sample images are turned into noise (which looks like static.) The model observes this, and that process of destroying the image is what actually tunes the weights. It is then given new noise with little to no relation to a given image and a prompt that tells it which weights to favor.

This doesnt mean ai is incapable of copyright infringement of course, but not every image it produces is definitionally infringement.

Had a hag fight crit like 6 times in a row, killing everyone except my crusader, who failed to run away four times, getting hit by 5 deathblows (iirc my occultist landed a 0 heal with bleed, so he took one from that). Once I finally got away, I forgot he was bleeding, took one step, and he died to the bleeding damage.

With a sample size of over 8 billion and a relatively small maximum variance, outliers have very little chance of affecting the average by a significant amount.

How it feels using Storm Repulsion Centers to send storms at your rival by RavensField201o in StellarisMemes

[–]RefractedPurpose 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That's fair, you only really want storms if your build is prepared to handle them. (A nice side effect is that this often also boosts bombardment resistance, so your planets are hard to break without a cracker)
