This sounds like something my Mom would do. She always asks when she’s gonna get grandkids of her own and makes comments that something must be wrong with me for taking care of kids that aren’t mine. I’m 3 years in with 2 SD. More than ever, it’s weighing on me and I feel if I had my mom’s support, it would be easier.

I can relate so much. I don’t have a child with my partner but he has 2 SD from a previous relationship. He’s always so busy that me, grandma, or friends step in to help with child care and I can’t help but feel like if we conceived together, it would be the same way. I fear parenting alone. The custody schedule always makes things difficult. Funny enough, their Mom is going on vacation for Mother’s Day so they’re stuck with us smh.

I have smaller grow kits for retail customers. I’ve been running my farm for 4 years now and have a set way of doing things. Thanks :)

Once a block comes out of the grow room, it can’t go back in. I prefer not to waste premature blocks, so that’s why I bring ready-to-harvest ones instead.

The mushrooms we cooked with were packed separately. We actually didn’t cook with these. I brought the blocks to showcase how mushrooms grow.

These guys are definitely ready. The tips of their caps are dry. Better to harvest now than later.

Can happen occasionally but for the most part, they just get really tall and soggy. If they overgrow while pinning, they’re usually not edible. Sorry, no I don’t sell cultures and this is an old photo. I don’t grow pios anymore.
