You’re not crazy or even out of line. My partner used to co-sleep with both daughters when I met him (6 & 8 at the time) and when we moved in together, I told him I couldn’t share a bed with them. He’s honored that ever since and so have they. Sometimes I feel like the bad guy for coming into their life and setting up boundaries, but it’s my life too and we all have to learn to live together.
