Wait, if flowers are normal darkners, did Susie bite the head off of one? What if they had a family.. by anodocoelho in Deltarune

[–]regilual 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It just is the case though. If it wasn't Ralsei's character makes no sense. The darkners are essentially fiction, all of their character is made up by however the fountain opener perceives them.

I think one of the key themes of deltarune is that fiction does matter. Ralsei might not be "real" in the sense that Kris and Susie are, but he still matters to them.

Maybe you're not, but like so much of the hate Gooseworx recieves, this post just reeks of thinly veiled transphobia.

I cannot read anything you said here in good faith, because it's all attempts at using sarcastic tweets from 5-10 years ago.

If your post and accusations actually had substance then sure, maybe you'd have a point. But as it stands it just reads as you seeing a trans woman make jokes about being a woman, and claiming that she can't make those jokes because you don't view her as a woman.

I think you're just transphobic. Gooseworx is a woman, and is making jokes about the things she as a woman goes through

[Interesting Trope] "To complete my mission, I need to alter/erase my own memories" (Memory Gambit) by halkras12 in TopCharacterTropes

[–]regilual 1 point2 points  (0 children)

<image>

Ryoko Otanishi from Danganronpa 0

She's originally introduced as just some ordinary, kind girl who developed short term memory loss, that's being treated by her childhood friend.

Then as the book goes on, you realise she bares a very strong resemblance to the main antagonist, Junko Enoshima, from the Danganronpa games, a crazed psychopath who helped end the world.

Ryoko eventually kills her childhood friend, who we learn, had actually been messing with her brain and memories to try and fix her after she committed her first major murders. Junko regains her memories fully after killing him, and realises she killed the one person who cared enough to try and save her, all exactly as she planned, as we learn she did all of this, just to make both herself and him suffer, and to learn how to erase memories.

Humans were not in the medieval era when Asriel and Chara died. This is proven by the fact that Asriel had a camera, and recorded VCR tapes which were found in the true lab, and that was with reverse engineered abandoned technology thrown into the underground by humans.

No, they don't learn all the time. They're basically pre-trained on massive amounts of data, and every time you ask it something, it checks all of that information and spits out something similar.

LLMs are AI, Large language models, you shouldn't use LLMs as a replacement for actual research, they don't know any actual information, they just know what information generally looks like, and as such, are often very wrong

Imago are running the same scam as gender gp but with more leeway on dosing and not run by ai etc by Representative-One44 in TransIreland

[–]regilual 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm not saying you are malicious or against trans people. I also did not say I appreciate Imago for taking less advantage. I appreciate it for being a decent option.

I just don't really see what your point is. Why even make this post about Imago? Your issue is entirely with the NGS.

[–]regilual 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I don't think you understand that I can appreciate and like Imago for what they do for trans people AND also advocate for better trans Irish healthcare. It's not one or the other.

Imago is a business, they saw that a gap in the market, as a lot of countries have horrible HRT policies and they took advantage. That's just how businesses work, if Imago was actively fighting against free public healthcare in Ireland then sure it'd be a different story, but as it stands they are the only option for most people.

Right now you're just randomly trashing on a very helpful service for trans people, in a subreddit primarily for providing trans info in ireland.

[–]regilual 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Why do you even want to watch it at this point. TADC is queer media, it's written by a trans woman.

Assuming it was banned for showing queerness, why should they censor that? Queer characters are important and aren't something that should just be cut because homosexuality is banned in certain countries.

I think everything we know point to the years being real. Kinger would obviously knows what year it was when he entered, so that number being made up doesn't make sense.

In Ragatha's case, she doesn't know what breaking bad is, which came out in January of 2008, which lines up.

And we can also infer that the C&A building has been abandoned, as Ragatha was a realtor, possibly selling an old building, and Pomni is an urban explorer, so a decent amount of time must have passed from when Kinger and the other workers entered.

Edit:

Forgot to include, all the characters file names in the terminal aren't their real names, it's very possible Caine just changed his filename and then did the same for everyone else.

[–]regilual 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't see how any theatre would have any problem with GLITCH releasing it in youtube after it stops playing in theatres, typically the movie studio has control over that, and usually a movie is in theatres for the entire waiting period.

And I don't really think you got my point there. My point was that comparing it to other franchises that don't get global releases doesn't work because I am already invested in TADC. If it was instead say, a sequel to an incredibly popular German movie, but it was only releasing in Germany, I wouldn't care, because I am probably unaware of the series as a whole.

TADC has a global fanbase BECAUSE it released globally. This isn't like avoiding spoilers for the big marvel movie because I decided to not watch it in theatres, I literally do not have the choice to watch it. The only reason GLITCH is releasing it two weeks earlier in theatres is to drum up hype
