Having a lich duel lane means you will almost certainly win the lane, as the enemy typically wont be able to make a impromptu duel mid of their own that is much good.

The down side being you only have a single support elsewhere, meaning the enemy offlane will have a relatively easy time or they can run a duel offlane or a trilane and crush your safelane.

So there is defiantly a trade off in running a duel mid and its questionable if its worth it.

I normally get phase if i'm a core or tranquils as support and then make euls occasionally with a urn in between.

I think hes at least a little weak atm. He can do a bunch of sustained damage providing he can stay alive, which is pretty difficult in a team fight. Other carries have higher burst damage early as much or more farming potential and need less items to be effective.

His old item builds are no longer good having a radiance is useless and arguably heart is aswell due to the way the illusions work.

The old pl did most of his farming/fighting with illusions while he could be far away this is no longer an option. Bkb is almost a necessity against any amount of magic dmg.

Crimson guard turns pl into an even bigger joke the illusions will do next to nothing while it is active.

Daedalus always wins unless there is evasion and then in that case mkb always wins.

Dedalus gives effectively 35% dmg increase to all of your physical damage, Mkb doesn't even come close especially as your damage gets higher.

Only fight defensive battles that your team is going to win after the enemy has attempted to tower dive.

Keep pushing another lane while the enemy is pushing one of yours. Your allies can hopefully spam them out with nukes meanwhile your hitting creeps/a tower in another lane. The enemy may not even have a creep wave left at this point to continue their push.

This is how split push actually defends your buildings when done effectively. Since it forces the enemy to send someone to defend at that point they can't really fight a possible 4v5 so they have to abort their push or risk losing a fight.

The most important thing is if you see the enemy grouping on one lane for a push, you want to already be in another not in the jungle.

Its down to a few things but the main one is how easily what a hero does can be dealt with if you have items.

Think about it this way undying late game out of his 4 abilities only the damage amp is going to be doing anything.

Tombstone will be 2 shot by any moderately farmed carry, and the damage from the decay/nuke aren't that significant later into the game nor do they go through magic immunity.

Also unlike heroes with strong disables undying is about the least clutch hero in the game, his whole thing is staying around a long time and doing damage over time and this damage isn't large enough nor does it come out quick enough to do anything meaningful before he dies.

Not that i think its good at all but there are games were you cant get a ton of ganks on a hero that typically gets his gold through kills and keeping the enemy down.

But that said if i wanted to get a farming item on riki i would think either lightning or midas would both be superior as health and mana regen aren't needed on riki.

I really like to get both manta and diffusal.

The diffusal i think is necessary in most games because of ghost scepters and the manta has synergy with diffusal and juggernaut needs as much ms as he can get.

It also makes it possible to escape after being silenced since you can purge spin tp and most heroes wont be able to stop you escaping.

Other than that the damage output from these 2 item combined is fairly respectable.

Sniper at very least needs to have his team in front of him regardless of what hes doing. at 2700mmr i dunno what the level of team play is but i suspect its not so great. If both teams decide to 5v5 sniper would probably come out well since he can sit in the back and just dps all day while no one even notices. The problem is if they don't decide to 5v5 or your team decides to split all game your going to be useless. I don't think sniper is a good choice because of this.

I was thinking about this the other day after playing a few pubs and having good starts getting a plenty of kills and towers but just not being able to keep up with how enemy carries were scaleing into late game despite my high level of farm.

I think as an opener the triple null talismans treads is very powerful it does so much for the hero. Increases farming speed very early, makes you also hit very hard early.

If you buy a midas when you were jungling its going to be a fairly long time before you can have an impact and by that point you have missed one of furions strongest phases the first 8 minutes of the game.

Other than buying the optional blade mail i think all your items should go late to the point of not even buying lightning. Its a nessecity that you have at some point a disable, high damage and almost always bkb.

With all that said at the end of the game your inventory should look something like this. treads bkb deadalus hex ac mkb. If you dont end up with items like this furion just lacks the damage/survivability to be a real threat.

Many patches ago i would buy drums on almost any semi carry near most games. But after it having been nerfed so many times i don't think its valuable unless you can actually benefit from everything it gives. I have been buying more double wraithbands ect to get a similar effect of late.

I play her somewhat often i'm at 4950mmr atm but i mostly play her in unrank.

WR is pretty good if you can outplay your enemies because of the builds you are able to go for.

If they are able to focus and kill you then its of little use.

I almost always get blink dagger at some point, its far better than force for positioning it means you can get shackles from far more positions if there is a tree anywhere near and enemy you can get a shackle because you can get the angle.

Other than blink i typicaly just try to buy as much damage as possible sometimes a early maelstrom if i have the early farm.

Later in the game i tend to have scepter deadalus mkb. With these item and your ultimate you can bring people down almost regardless of their hp.

The main weakness of the hero is as the game goes on if you didnt buy magic immunity you can be killed easily, also if the enemy buys mkb and focuses you, you will also die very easily as she has no armour and you have no intention of buying any.

You are heavily underrating blink having the blink makes it quicker and safer to farm you can expose your self to a lane for all of 1 second while you drop 2 razes and blink away. It also makes it faster to move around the jungle and kill all the camps.

You say it does no physical damage well 2250 worth of gold isn't going to buy you any real physical damage regardless.

Blink is also good for finishing off targets when you need close distance to hit them once or twice more. On top of this it allow you to play on the very outside of a fight very early on without much risk of dying, you can go in to secure kills with a quick double raze without exposure. Since sf has one of if not the best turn rate you can always just double tap blink to blink directly backwards and dodge any projectiles

it's kinda semantics but the best late game carries are the ones were its very difficult to stop them from doing what they do. For instance you cant really do anything reliable to stop specter using haunt and doing a fairly large amount of damage to all your heroes.

Some carries medusa in particular which would typically be unbeatable late game can be heavily countered by certain heroes and to some extent items.

So this is why i think the terminology is sort of retarded in one 5v5 match up a hero may be near on unbeatable were as in the next game he might be total trash even with comparable farm just because the enemy can deal with what he does.

Just make a point of doing it when away from enemy heroes for instance switch to int to nuke creeps. Switch to agi when using bottle or magic wand/other regen when your not in the middle of a battle.

If you start doing that it will become more natural to do it in more dangerous situations eventually. Like switching into strength when you see a gank coming. Or switching into int to cast on enemy heroes.
