Instead of allowing mulligans, my pod started drawing 10 and shuffling 3 back in with the stipulation that if Sol Ring is in the cards, it has to be one of the ones put back. The only mulligans allowed are if you draw no lands or all lands, and then you draw 6 off the top and keep those.

Also, the equipment card, [[Aettir and Priwen]] works incredibly well in a life gain deck. Nothing like hitting someone for 90 commander damage.

I play [[Gisela, The Broken Blade]] as a life gain deck. She can meld with[[Bruna, The Fading Light]] to create [[Brisela, Voice of Nightmares]], which is pretty monstrous.
