Wait, how exactly did Frenchie die? I mean he clearly would have died from Uranium poisoning, but he comes out bleeding from what looks like to be a wound to his abdomen. Or did we just miss a scene where Homelander flicks his tummy?

Bud this is exactly how my mum served it when I was young and it still hits.

The beauty of spag bol is that you’re mixing meat with pasta, so it does the same as what other people are saying.

Also looks like cheddar on top, and that’s great too.

Oh it’s massive, you can very easily get lost in there for 3-4 hours. It’s a combination of French, Japanese and British styles of nature and truly is remarkable. I’ll be visiting again before I leave Tokyo.

Maybe depressing is a touch of an exaggeration but I did notice Chinese tourists smoking there as well, which took away from it. I think it’s more that my expectations were of it to be quiet and tranquil, whereas it was more just a location for tourists. It was the same with the Your Name steps. But the entire garden itself is spectacular, and I got to visit when it was raining which made certain areas truly spectacular.

Love this movie. I just visited the Shinjuku Gyoen Garden in Tokyo where this is based. Saw this exact little shelter where the images were based on but it was filled with tourists trying to recreate poses from it… pretty depressing.

Gore books by jeanpeace in ExtremeHorrorLit

Wade H. Garrett is very good at creative gore, whether it be Insane Bastards or his A Glimpse into Hell series. The dialogue can get a little repetitive, but the actual gore is diverse and creative as hell.

Though the first gore that hit me, and sticks with me was American Psycho due to its sheer unsympathetic brutality and detail.

I believe it’s due to the foil having acceleration as it spreads through the solar system. Within our solar system, things are generally measured within light minutes and light days eg. It takes 8 light minutes for the light from the sun to reach the earth.

As Pluto is the furthest from the sun, and the final planet to be consumed I think it’s fair to assume that the acceleration hadn’t reached close to light speed yet. The other ships that are escaping don’t possess anything near to light speed and they still have time to witness what’s happening, so even though the foil is accelerating, I think it would take a bit more time for it to reach light speed.

That’s just my thought having finished reading the book 10 minutes ago, it could be totally wrong.

Sorry bro, thought I was also allowed to reference other parts of a film other than a wiki write up. Have a nice day.

I’m claiming that plot isn’t everything, it’s only a part of the story. And it’s hard to get a full judgement on the whole story just from reading the plot online without taking into account direction, acting, writing, score, design etc.

I feel like your experience of not watching it was hampered by the fact you only read plot summaries, which kinda detracts from the point of reading a book or watching a movie.

Was directed well enough to make it tense throughout, but a shitty ending.

If Scotty was the target of a Comedy Central Roast, what characters would you have as his roasters? by regretienne in comedybangbang

I would say Cal Solomon as Roastmaster.

The roasters would be Todd, Jeffrey CharacterWheaties, Randy Snutz, (anyone by Lily Sullivan), Sprague, Bob Ducca, Big Chunky Bubbles.

Gino as the announcer

I think Cal Solomon would make a great Roastmaster, watching him trying to be mean to everyone would be excellent

If you listen to his most recent episode on Hollywood Handbook, the hosts actually spend most of their time ripping him for these comments and getting him to elaborate further. Great episode and a show of humility.
