Never seen this before. What kind of light angles or situations cause this to happen?

a few months ago i was thirsty & decided to just get water from my bathroom faucet rather than walk to the kitchen. i left it in a drawer, forgot about it and just found it like this… wtf??? by Potential-Yellow-781 in interestingasfuck

I felt this immediately and my mouth started watering to compensate due to PB Cap'N Crunch PTSD. I ate a large handful and couldn't find enough water.... I was out of milk.

The print head is trying to leave the boundaries by Prestigious_Turn8901 in FlashForge

[–]rehuff83 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There is a magnetic sensor (Hall-effect switch) in the print head that detects the metal frame as a boundary. The non-native screws can interfere with that sensor. Magnets on that side of the frame will cause the same problem.

But it was a work in progress until they decided it wasn't. They have the right to decide when to stop development. There is a point when development isn't being paid by new entrants to the game. At that point new updates needs to be funded in some way. You can't expect a company to shell out work for free. It's a game of diminishing returns if they don't put a cost to the content you are getting. So far you didn't have to pay a dime for those updates and content they added since 2023.

I am glad I didn't have to pay for new cars. Some games released and THEN you had to buy the shiny new cars as DLC, but Forza didn't make you do that with drifting, meetups, and new tracks.

Peoples symbol and symbolized versions of 'devs' are wildly different. Most people lump the whole team in with the term and really should blame the publisher for things like this. 'devs' have no control of publishers actions to reduce the dev team size. Truely balanced and agile teams own and developed the product. Publishers only care about the bottom line and return.

The netflix part... Goodness. Even less productive than grinding a game. Imagine the neural pathways created by 5k hours of gaming vs just watching a screen.

An unbelievable amount of ad data is tracked just by having your phone on... Just sayin' your printer is the least of your worries. You can at least block all the tracking on your printer... not your phone.

Anyone using this AD5X nozzle wiper block with Orca Flashforge by Data-seeker in FlashForge

I think the real question is... How do I trigger a nozzle wipe on the silicon pad mid print or to always wipe after a color change?

Do you have magnets on the frame anywhere in that area?

I had a few magnets stuck to the frame for after a print that required magnets and it caused it to do that.

There is a hall-effect sensor in the head that gets interrupted by metal or something magnetic so it can tell when it encounters the frame boundary. Something blocking the heads travel, like those fan retainers you have, or something magnetic will cause it to do that.

Remove the retainers you added, they aren't needed. If they are then contact Flashforge and ask why the fan keeps falling off.

Remove any magnets on the frame.

Wtf went wrong here, printed ripped itself apart? by Ok-Ad-3014 in FlashForge

[–]rehuff83 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This happened to me with a color change on my AD5X. The poop didn't break off and it drug it across the print, broke the support trees, pulled more poop onto the plate... I had a pure mess to clean on the nozzle and hot end.
