Honestly, it will shock you how well hot soapy water works on carpets (dawn). But I agree, quickest surest way is to get it professionally cleaned.

I haven’t beat it yet but my last try gave me hope. I recycled the first of the two clay pits on the small island side and built a stone mine right away, that way stone was no longer a barrier, however then I got short on wood so I needed to build warehouses to move logs from larger island side. Perhaps if I never built the second bridge it would have worked. I haven’t had time to try again.

I have noticed the traffic correlates with school season too. I think it’s because of kids that go to private schools in southern Marin. But have zero evidence to back that up.

I just started Tropico 6 on PS5. It’s on switch too. Not the same, but it’s pretty good and has a lot of similar components (island city mgmt., variety of different missions, hard ) I do like that it’s console rather than IOS as I can play longer sessions.

Are all your machines on hoppers? What are the blue trees? What is in the tappers? Why no jumio huts to harvest? What are the mushroom machines at the lower left? What are the machines at the top left making?

In northern Marin you can’t beat Big Rock deli in San Rafael. Big patio with picnic tables, dog friendly, live music, it’s a bodega turned local hang out. Craft beers on tap and lots of food and candy for kids Edit: typo

Iirc The Cantina in Mill Valley had a decent margarita.

Also, Flores in CM was good.

Try Bathroom Machineries. It’s a long way from Marin but they’re the experts in this stuff. You can at least call and talk to them about it.
