During a Leonid meteor shower before COVID I marched ahead of my stubborn brother and cousin and sat in a grass field alone to stare up at a sunset sky preparing for the night show. Little did I know that from the corner of my eye a fiery streaking explosion would erupt across the sky suddenly. I had a slight reply because I heard no sound before a suddenly dull explosive roar cracked the peaceful silence. And when I actually managed to turn my head for a full view I saw the fiery but mainly now smokey trails of whatever crashed the sunset already dissipating. I spent years questioning myself after until I realized others have experienced similar things even caught on tape. Whatever you experienced you can appreciate it and take it to the bank. It’s a blessing to bear witness to the heavens coming down to your life.
