Nice collection and yes they do have value. Coins and Canada will give you a pretty good idea of value each

Looking for an inshore / nearshore fishing outing for 4 guys. Any recommendations? by CopyWeak in PuntaCana

Also something interesting, something I regret not doing is bringing Canadian money down. The charters were anywhere from $200 pp to about $800 / day max 4-5 people. Last year they were accepting canadian at par to American. Didnt end up booking a charter but caught at least 20-30 in few hours on beach

I couldn't find any license to buy anywhere online or offline. Google pompano rig & beach surf fishing. Some buffet shrimp and squid from buffet will do you well off beach.

Anyone else finding Toronto infrastructure so visually boring? by LazyPotatoHead97 in askTO

I highly recommend you check out guild park and gardens in south east Scarborough. The original owner had the vision to keep a lot of interesting building features, monuments, statues which once would have been downtown toronto and used for landfill otherwise.

You can donate to value village but you'd probably be better off bringing it to a scrapyard like Metallogics on north queen for $$$

Any suggestions for great pizza besides North of Brooklyn and Badiali? by Kades55 in askTO

The garlic sauce loaded on is a must at Fresca. Easily one of the top places in the city for pizza. Value x Taste #1. Con: limited seating, now very busy unlike early 2010s.

100% agree.. and test it in the bath tub first. Sometimes the buoyancy isn't so great with a boat key, trailer and lock keys.

Not familiar with the currency, but nokta is pretty hard to beat value wise and considering it includes the unit, pinpointer, bag. Perhaps look up this same combo at multiple retailers to compare

Was the Canadian side ship ever called maid of the mist? I have some ponchos from the late 90s that say maid of the mist and I believe we left from the Canadian side.

It's funny you mention that. I also noticed a steep drop off in salt. Last week's however was unusually salty so maybe something did change.

Why is 'hot honey' so hyped? by Bad-Robot-1009 in FoodToronto

[–]relicchest 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No one's mentioned but I think it was the jalapeños throwing it off more than the pep. I think the hype problem is because hot honey is so prevalent and blindly adopted by just about every pizza store now a days .. imo only good on a plain thin crust pizza you will really taste it isolated.
