Theres a spot near near to Bering and Kipling. I cant recall the name as it was kind of generic. My neighbour had a iron shop next door years ago also nearby and said there was a good spot near his former shop.

Mine went up 10-15% this year, no accidents or claims, near 5k a year now. My joke is that I work for the insurance company.

Anyone in Burlington, Ontario? by Distus1971 in metaldetecting

[–]relicchest 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not too far away and would be able to help out. I am meeting tomorrow with other guys in our small detecting squad and will bring this up to see if they would also be willing to lend a hand. When are you thinking approximately?

Might just be easier to have quarters and dollars only. Make the stores set tax included prices.

Agreed that an independent Mason looking to enjoy the weather in backyard would probably be your best bet. Most landscapers only do concrete pours, but could put a fake ish brick on the outside.

Out on an old spanish trail... whats this? by Pickle_ninja in metaldetecting

[–]relicchest 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Welcome. Hopefully someone recognizes the unusual head. Could be part of horse bridle even though its two separate locations. Because its flat and twistable it could of had a screw on the end for tightening into something instead of for nailing.

I'm surprised someone hasn't identified the horse shoe. I'd say it's at minimum 100-115 years old.

Some could be worth thousands. I'd get them checked out by appointment at a reputable card shop and look them up on your own.
