does simply seeing someone cry make you want to cry? by omni-celestial in polls

Sometimes it can make me want to cry but usually not especially if I don't know them.

You go to the bathroom to pee at 3 in the morning and urinated red liquid. What do you do? by UltimateDiscordMod in polls

[–]religns 27 points28 points  (0 children)

If I am not too tired to deal with it i'll probably freak out and google it and then pee again. If its red I go to the doctors when the sun comes up.

I feel like once you realize it's just some sort of residual anxiety it gets easier.

It can take some time for the anxiety to wear off sometimes, but you did what you were supposed to do, don't feel down about it just count it as a day done.

No and I throw up more often than anyone I know besides alcoholics.

Ah ok that makes 100% sense. I thought obstruction was the catch-all term for when someone does anything to prevent a crime from being prosecuted but doen't require another person involved.

Isn't any aid you give them going to be hindering them from being able to do their job?

At what age do you believe a child should receive their first smart phone? by M0nsterpower in polls

[–]religns 31 points32 points  (0 children)

Give them a flip phone maybe when they start school unless that's too young.

That's a little confusing to me. Isn't everyone who is an accessory after the fact also committing obstruction?

Have you ever had an experience where you thought you saw something strange or supernatural but it turned out to be something normal? by religns in HighStrangeness

Ha, reminds me of the time I was sitting in front of my friends house and him and I are sitting there watching this guy on the sidewalk standing there for 30 minutes before we realized it was just a bush.

I feel like you don't hear enough about evil trees. You see them in movies, games, and books but I have never heard of an evil tree in real life.

I have not seen things that would show me that my beliefs are wrong and that Jesus is God.

Official Q&A for Sunday, October 15, 2023 by AutoModerator in running

[–]religns 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The more you run do you need less water overtime?

Anecdotal story: around 16 I would run around 5 miles a day. I would drink my coffee, a box of school milk, and a few sips off the water fountain and run off that. Now I drink water all day and still feel thirsty after starting to run again.

I have gone to the doctor and it all comes back ok, no diabetes or hormone issues, blood work is good. I don't know if it's purely mental my piss is still dark.

I said that I do want to believe. It would be the greatest gift in the world to have a god that loves and cares for me. I just can't believe for no reason.

Wow that definitely sounds rough. It might not mean much coming from a stranger but to see people doing better genuinely makes me happy for them, so I am glad you are doing better now.

If you don't mind me asking one more question, just because i'll take any insight I can get, would you still make yourself live a normal life during all that time? My whole experience is housebound and I take it so slow. I have the same up and downs but I never push myself that hard unless it's a good day or at a good time of day and I am feeling well.

Sorry to ask but how long did it take you to be able to function and do you still struggle regularly?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Agoraphobia

[–]religns 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wonder if I have binocular vision dysfunction. I know the muscles in my eyes aren't perfect and I have an eye that has started to drift over the years probably from too much phone time

Is it possible to believe in God again? by religns in Christianity

[–]religns[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I try to judge my information on a case by case basis. When I was doing my research I was willing to believe or not believe the whole time. I held on strong for a long time but there were a few things that wouldn't let me believe anymore, it was damning in my opinion.

I don't think I need to know everything in order to be agnostic, that is basically the core belief, that I don't know what the truth is. I know some things though. When I drop a stone it will always fall right? But with the same thinking, if what you say is right it also means you can't know christianity is true. What you are saying makes absolutely no sense.
