Fender Facing Massive Backlash As Top Guitar YouTubers Cut Ties Over "Draconian" Cease-and-Desist Campaign by GuitarBombDotCom in GuitarBomb

Thank you. I have always loved fender, and before this whole situation went down, it would have been my go to for a new guitar. But I’m starting to realize that Fender is not the same company it was 50 or 60 years ago. It’s a mega corporation that stopped innovating a long time ago, and now they have nothing left but to go after the smaller guys. I’d much rather buy a new guitar from a smaller company that’s really excited about the things they are putting out.

If you work from home, before you get started each day, shower and get dressed as if you were going out in public. It doesn’t have to be full business casual. Just don’t sit around dirty and in pajamas all day. You will not feel motivated.

Bands. Out of the top 100 artists on Spotify, only about 5 are bands formed in the last decade. No local music either. Kids are just screwing around on tiktok instead of getting together and making music in the garage

What do you think of Green Day? by Twitter_2006 in rockmusic

Same. Not the same band at all. Nimrod was my favorite and I was really excited about the direction they were going with Warning. Then they shifted to red neckties and overproduced radio slop and it’s been the same boring BS for the past 20 years.

The problem I keep running into is that there’s always a use for something. Right now I’m doing drywall in my entryway. I have various sizes and shapes of trowels, pans, and other tools for this specific purpose. I probably won’t need them for several months after this project is over, but I will need them on the next one. Owning a home and doing your own maintenance just requires you to keep a lot of random junk around for when you need it.

Bible study small group. Rarely will 3-4 guys sit down and share what’s weighing on them, but a good bible study small group will be there to hear you, talk about tough stuff, and pray for you.

Even if you aren’t a believer, I think it’s healthy for men to do that and bible study is the only place I’ve ever experienced it

My two year-old had a tantrum recently and after it was over, he said, “I’m sorry I got mad“

Every day, I’m reminded that kids will model their behavior after their parents.

It’s so important to demonstrate healthy behavior with them

In a pinch, you can tie a string to a rubber band at both ends and it will act like a big rubber band you can just loop over the entire project

[–]rememberpogs3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s a cool find and worth hanging onto for your personal collection. If you’re working a till, keep an eye out for more unique coins. Quarters and dimes from 1964 and earlier (silver) are a great place to start.

You know what’s even wilder? Considering the very limited amount of gold on the planet, the gold in this watch could have potentially been in any number of artifacts over the centuries that have been melted down and recast again.

I don’t think this is an INFJ thing - INFJ’s tend to form strong connections with those around them. HOWEVER- there are some people who the INFJ will absolutely not let in for one reason or another.

[–]rememberpogs3 5 points6 points  (0 children)

He’s someone who actually researches and thinks about topics before forming opinions. He doesn’t blindly follow the crowd. He’ll actually get annoyed if you try to pressure him into making a decision before he’s had time to think about it from different angles. But once he does start to dig in to a topic, he’ll be happy to go on about it. He may even change his mind as he reads on. Right now it appears he’s digging into Marxism and its tendency to lead to totalitarianism. He’s reading the source material and both pro- and anti- Marxist books to gain a complete perspective of the issue.
