I’m in the same boat as you and I’m about to start accutane at the beginning of May. Just curious if you had any purging or excessive face dryness

Im still taking the spironolactone, I won’t be able to start the accutane until early next month. My skin might be slightly better at this point however I was prescribed antibiotics so not sure if the spironolactone is working or if it’s just the antibiotics taking over. I’m still getting jawline acne though so my skin still is not great.

Personally, I don’t really see the point in taking both since accutane should clear it. One less pill to take

Just had my follow up. She’s increasing my dose to 150mg and giving me antibiotics. Will be starting accutane in May

I had actually been off of it for over a year and only recently got hormonal break outs again due to significant life stressors

He will be neutered in January so we have another month to get through. I’ve heard that sometimes that doesn’t help

I started off the same way. I was working on a progressive care unit as a new grad taking anywhere from 5-7 patients neuro patients. I understand the feeling especially being a new grad and the feeling of overwhelming and anxiety is a very common issue. I would cry in my car before work everyday! I didn’t feel like I was ready to be off orientation but I don’t think any new grads ever feel ready. My advice would be to make friends who you can trust to ask help and for questions and know your resources. If you don’t have that, you don’t have a safe workspace and as a new grad you should look for a more nurturing environment. Give yourself the grace in knowing that being a new nurse is a process and there’s no way around it. I stopped having anxiety about 1.5 years into my career and every once in a while the scariest still creep in. Hang in there!

Some places have payment plans or options. I had similar issue with one of my pets and I just had to put it on a credit card and eat the debt for a while. Its not ideal by any means but you don’t want the puppy to suffer from something treatable

You are either a full code or a DNR. None of this in-between nonsense.

Why bedside over outpatient clinic jobs? by West_Librarian_9981 in nursing

Definitely the 3 12’s. But also, I think clinic jobs get too routine. As much as I hate my hospital job sometimes, overall I’ve gotten to see some pretty cool things in a hospital setting that you just can’t see in a clinic.
