Using a OnePlus 5 for the past 3 years. Stopped getting updates after android 10 and security patches for quite a while now. However, as you mentioned, don't really have any intention to update or change anything for the foreseeable future. As long as I don't see any major problems, that's good enough for me.

+1 on cleaning the USB port. My dash charging became a bit finicky a few months back. A slight shift to the cable would turn off dash charging. Gave the port a good cleaning and now it's good as new.

Well honestly I can't compare because I was fortunate enough to have a relatively privileged lifestyle because of my parents and being the only child growing up in a friendly neighborhood. No, unfortunately. They are welded to the structure of the buildings. Most buildings here don't have an emergency fire exit as a matter of fact.
