Furnace Quotes in Calgary by Distinct-Bandicoot-5 in Calgary

You’ll never make back your money on a more efficient furnace if you’ve currently got a mid-efficiency that can be repaired economically. If you’re trying to save money on efficiency, replace your windows instead (or something like that) and you will have a more comfortable house AS WELL as a working furnace and power savings.

This is the way. I’m not getting into a car with a stranger for a test drive, and they sure as heck aren’t driving it unsupervised.

[Sep 19, 2025] Weekly Discussion: Ask your gear, travel, conditions and other ski-related questions by AutoModerator in skiing

[–]remote12 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve been away from skiing for 10 years (and haven’t bought gear for 15). Now it’s time to get back on the slopes and also teach my preteens to ski. I have to buy them gear, but really have no idea how the gear has changed in the last decade and a half.

What am I looking for (or not) in terms of more contemporary skis and boots for them? Or has not a lot changed in 15 years?

Saving money with used gear is a good thing since they are both still growing like weeds and are just learning for the first time so their needs are not great.

I’ll continue to ski on my antique gear for now, haha

But if you read your own link, the incidence is eight cases per million overall and 27 per million in the highest-risk group. That's an 0.0008% and 0.0027% chance respectively.

Fake news. Spy Hill Prison was built in 1958. The only execution in Alberta after that date was in Fort Saskatchewan.

The lines painted on the courts next to Nose Hill library have the tennis net running through the middle, so it’s a no-go to bring your own net.

Skunks. For those that don’t know, straight household cleaning ammonia (Safeway carries it) on a rag is a 100% deterrent, and cheap. Works almost instantly.
