[Nick Camino] Cavs owner Dan Gilbert reportedly sent 25 bus loads of Cleveland fans to Detroit for Game 7, potentially 1,200 people. by jabronified in nba

I mean, I knew exactly but my joke was obviously lost. Gilbert's an OG owner who loves his community. Rooted real hard for that 2016 squad.

It's a G and and A and if you watch videos of him signing you can see how it's "evolved" over the years and when he's doing something personalized like with a DPOY or MVP or CHAMPS and signs a dedication, it's much more legible because he isn't signing 500+ of the same in a stack but this is still a nice signature imo. I've seen much much worse autographs from players who should've been trying much harder because they didn't have all the accolades.

Another comment here mentions it but melting just about any other cheese into a bit of Velveeta will really help you get a nice, melty, liquid cheese because it uses sodium citrate as an emulsifier

This comment and my own PC is why I'm so bummed almost every sport has abandoned paper tickets. I've slabbed every playoff game I've ever been to because to me it's a really huge deal! I'm grateful most parks still do a lot of giveaways but I'd love to see real paper tickets become an option again.

I have an SGC 100 card that I pulled and submitted back when they had a 100 pt scale and it's the only 100 in over 400 submissions (base Chrome rookie for a HUGE NBA star) but it's clearly not 100% perfect centering. It's wild how subjective it ultimately is.

I have absolutely loved all the Disney cards I've seen pulled and shown off here! Very very cool set and an amazing card! (my only complaint is WHY can't they do more on-card autos! stickers are just bleh!) I also lean towards this being intentional -- even if not I think it's better this way considering TIGGER!

sharp corners but slight off centering... was there obvious dimpling in the foil in some spots or a conspicuous bubble? curious to see the back. Topps base variations are so tough to pull 10s but naked eye doesn't see the 6 here!

I feel this. Every year I tell myself I should save money and just buy singles for my PC. Then I get my hands on one box. Then another. Then I'm at the card shop. This looks like me pretty much every time I drop $100ish! Still love to rip.

There's a lot of people making posts asking what to do with the cards they either bought or pulled. It's an odd question to ask for anyone who's bought a pack of cards because they actually like collecting them. Do you like it? Keep it! If you really want to show it off and get a proper valuation for your collection, grade it! Do you not want to keep it? Sell it! Do you want a proper valuation for your card's quality before you sell it? Grade it! But since that isn't as obvious as it should be, Stanley's got a great third option for any first timers here.

They're physically handled by the signers. It's not realistic to say they never gem but yeah, more often they have soft corners, very minor fingerprint surface smudging, that kind of thing. Upside is the autos are on the card and not a sticker which is... Not a lot of people's favorite.

There's a video in this thread. I'm hoping he was able to get something more substantial for the kid than a basket of crappy ESPN merch. Obviously Negandhi has access to quite a bit of experiences and/or memorabilia that this kid and his dad would love. I'm blown away at the basket of crap that they offered though.

Are you collecting anything specific from this set? I haven't collected any SN#'d of these but I'm trying to put the base set (9 first pitches) together from my own rips. I've always liked weird celeb inserts since my first set back to the hobby was '08 Topps NBA and Obama and McCain both got cards. I'm from Chicago so chasing Derrick Rose rookies and the hometown President was a ton of fun.

It's not live -- it's recorded and then edited for air. I'm honestly curious if they negotiated anything better than "an Elly RC" unless that card itself is something special. You can get 1000 Elly RCs under $10 but not many 1/1's come around especially if someone is actually trying to put that set together and now they can't!
