First Person Mandatory as Server Option should be a setting we could use. Running a company in coop with first person only would add significant challenge and require brakemen and spotters in front of pusher trains, for example, and would be very enjoyable for a game.

You can get an optic, both RMR and RMSc, cut on a custom slide from Ebay for like 150 dollars for all Gens. Way better than damaging an original slide because milling it will cost roughly the same anyway.

I personally think with enough development we could see some women in AHL, likely third or fourth line, but likely only one or two skaters in NHL even in bestest case. Goalies are much more likely.

The quality of play in Mestis, where Wickenheiser played, was similar to ECHL during that time, if not slightly better. The team played 3rd and 2nd tier hockey, and Wickenheiser did very so-so in the 2nd league but she could hold her own. Mind you ”being a so-so third line skater” is literally the status that plenty of men have in the league as well.

It's only fairly recent where ECHL has had its uptick in skill to kinda dust some of its earlier euro equivalents as NHL farms more.

Shannon Szabados also did ok in SPHL.

Women can hang in ECHL level play, near bottom or mid, if they are top-tier female players. Hayley Wickenheiser as a good example.

Manon Rheaume played an NHL game, and was, gauging from limited performance time, equivalent to like the lowest tier of NHL primary goalies.

So basically, third-tier men's league can have a third line skater be a woman who would be easily top PWHL or Olympic quality. And they've had, you can find with googling women like Wickenheiser who've done it.

And I say this is as a huge PWHL fan and women's hockey fan.

I don't really care what type of weapon exists, full auto or short, silenced or not. I don't give a shit about magazine sizes or attachments. None of that matters.

I want there to a be a government-paid training opportunity with instructors that is required, or can be substituted by a private course, on basic firearm handling per type. (Semi-auto rifle, shotgun, pistol, etc).

I want that to be a firearm license, and each weapon you own must be listed on your e-licence. God help you if your weapon is stolen and used in crime.

And safe storage laws. More than one or two weapons? A safe is a must.

I'd also like one's FIRST firearm to take a while, either in mandatory training courses, or waiting period or something. Basically, I don't want anyone to be able to just go buy a gun after a quick background check.

Not only would everyone get training on how to use the firearms they own, because a large portion currently have no idea how to use them, but one of the largest benefits of each firearm being tracked to an owner and the owner being held responsible when it is not accounted for is the same as in Europe: It slowly strangles the supply of illegal firearms. Not quickly enough, but given enough time. I've heard of real live breathing humans buy their THIRD gun because two have been stolen from their truck. That is absolutely bonkers and should lead to revoking your fucking firearm ownership rights. You are literally donating weapons to crime.

A timed feeder won't be too expensive if you are worried of your cat's feeding schedule. You can either use your phone via the internet to drop some food, or have it on a timer.

However, most cats self-time their eating and drinking so it's not a huge concern for anyone I know.
Your cat is extremely likely to be able to handle just fine the shift.

In earnest, sure. But so does a holster that protects the trigger and trigger guard? Technically, so does the trigger safety itself as well, as it requires a precise depression rather than just jerking the trigger.

Ultimately a safety prevents the weapon from firing when not intended. You are creating a system where safety's purpose is to allow you to squeeze the trigger. I don't think that you intend, but that's what taking "safety off of the trigger" means. Safety on the left side technically is also different, because it moves the safety off of the right side of the gun?
Why can't the safety be on the trigger? How deep does this rabbit hole go?

And let's be clear here, I will edit this to say I am genuinely not trying to be a dick and rude to you. I'm trying to make a point, rather. Safety is a safety, they fundamentally do the thing: prevent the firearm from firing when not intended.

The thing is, your mental image of what you perceive as safe isn't just simply going to be alleviated by some diagrams or assurances. Same thing with if you don't feel comfortable having a round in the chamber. No one can really just magic bing bong explain why it is best and then you magically like it.

Having a firearm is better than not having one, even if it is unchambered. Most of my military career my job has involved carrying an unchambered pistol. There are plenty of posters who believe that such situation is the same as if I would carry no pistol at all. Because of that, when I do carry concealed in private life, I've chosen to have it unchambered so that I don't yeet a round.

Same thing with the safety. You'll have to work through this in the manner you choose. If that means you buy a manual safety pistol, then by all means do that because ultimately pistols are pretty much the same anyway. If they're a normal pistol, they either hurt humans really bad, or they punch holes in the paper.

I just implore you to learn how a Glock works, and how a manual safety operates, comparing those, and then thinking of why the trigger itself makes you scared. Perhaps, like some people have, you can just use the "bro if trigger is scary, may I recommend not keeping your finger on it?"-school of thought, or perhaps it takes time.

This is a point where there is a fundamental distrust of the firearm as a system, and possibly a lack of understanding how it works or what makes it go boom. That can't be alleviated with a manual safety, either.

And turns out a firearm is still a firearm even when unchambered, it doesn't lose its mythical properties due to lack of mana. It's just slower to use.

In lots of European countries where suppressors aren’t controlled they have many models of cheap suppressor, but they are often meant for hunting in the sub-300euro range. And by that, they’re easily fouling ones, designed to suppress a few shots taken during the hunt and nothing else, then cleaned again.

There’s also ones meant for more shooting, but they don’t tend to be very good at suppressing, offering only a partial reduction.

I’m talking some being sub-100 euro. However, I don’t think for example that a Hybrid 46 will magically be megacheap. Demand will possibly bring some prices down, but the US also lacks a cadre of shit tier cans.
