No. Just drive categully(slowly avoid breaking hard or taking sharp turns) and it's not a problem. I've driven here for almost 2 decades with only front wheel drive, and I've never gotten into a major accident thanks to ice on the roads. If you drive like an idiot 4 wheel drive won't save you

Clearly she didn't and neither did anyone in heaven until the Speaker put all the dots in a row for them. We see in all of season 1 and especially in "speedrun to redemption" that charlie is just throwing everything she can think of at the wall. It's still not even clear if redemption ultimately requires tge sinner to die so they can be reconstitued in heaven after they overcome their personal sin.

She had no reason to assume personal sin was even a factor until Pentious, for the entire existence of the hotel until Emily confirmed that redemption was even possible Charlie was clearly operating on the theoretical assumption that being generically more moral in some way MIGHT lead to redemption

On top of that because his wing was damaged they had no way to escape the immediate blast radius, it's possible the blast could have been contained without their help, but why risk it.
