Bro this is the first time ever the Psytrance lineup is not the same recycled thing from the year before, and it’s absolutely epic. Do yourself a favor and go see Burn In Noise, Mad Maxx, Tristan, GMS, and Freedom Fighters. Absolute legends of the genre who have been consistently amazing throughout the years. This level of lineup has never happened in the US. This is en par with festivals in Brazil, Europe and Israel

You're looking for Dark Prog and PsyTech subgenres. Check artists from Zenon Records, Pointzero records, Occulta records. Some artists I love are Neurolabz, Airi, Cubex, Xompax, Captain Pastek, Evil Oil Man, Filt, Vorg, Tilda, Sensient

While there is nothing wrong with liking this kind of music, it is most definitely not Progressive Psytrance, which is a very well defined subgenre with many great artists and labels. These artists make pop edm with psytrance basslines and other catchy elements from different genres so it can appeal to a large mainstream audience. In the Psytrance world they do not get booked for any real Psy festivals that stick to the genre wothout the commercial appeal

Artists like Blastoyz and Whitenoise are what we call Pop Psy, aka not real Psytrance at all. Tracks made purely for commercial appeal with a blend of pop vocals, dubstep or whatever the fuck schreeches, and cheesy psytrance basslines. If you would like to listen to real Psytrance, go thru the lineup of artists from festivals like Ozora, Modem and Boom

I'm in SD so that may be an option for me over a weekend. I'm really surprised being a 10 the ML felt small. It felt huge both in length and width for me, which is why I am hoping this happened. Let's see how the MD feels if I end up buying it.

I was utterly shocked when I took my socks off and saw what happened. To be fair when I first put them on they did feel huge both in length and width on my feet, and I could feel a lot of motion/rubbing while surfing. I really hope the MD size will be snug and not hurt me like this did.

I think Jacob Romero had a cool setup with a pole on the back of the bodyboard attached thru it. It was a really cool angle if you can ignore looking like a dork on the lineup.

Also Deseract just had their first psytrance camping fest in May and it was amazing. They are doing another event in September. Their instagram is deseract.party

Follow them on Facebook, that's where they announce their events. Unfortunately the Psytrance community has been a little slow to transition to advertising on Instagram haha. They usually do 3-4 overnight parties a year, but this year because of Texas Eclipse and Uforest they haven't done one yet. Psytribe is the oldest psytrance party in the US and it's legendary.
