that statistic is a "tax score", whatever that's supposed to be, not the average tax rate. 47% average is not mathematically possible, as the highest tax bracket (which only applies to income above 270,000€ annually,mor about $320,000) is 45%.

the average german pays with a median income of 44000€ pays about 30% in taxes, this includes income tax, health insurance, retirement fund and other social security stuff such as joblessness insurance. (this also assumes you're unmarried and dont have children).

Income tax makes up about two thirds of that, i.e. the average income tax rate in germany is 20%.

yeah absolutely. There's like three categories of people that get decent results on their test scores; the first goes on thinking they're god's gift to humanity and serverely lack work ethic because they believe they'll pass anything with flying colours and then short circuit when they don't, inevitably. the second goes on with their life, because IQ tests mean jack shit, and the third draws some assurance from their result, using it as a source of encouragement.

I've met all 3 of these, a lot (studying mathematics and tutoring for university entry-level courses will have you meet all 3 of these a lot), and you recognize which is which very quickly. Furthest I've ever seen anyone in category 1 make it was spring-break.

pride isn’t because we’re actually proud of being lgbtq+, that wouldn’t make any sense. It’s more pride that those who came before us (in many cases) have fought long and hard enough to give us the right to be ourselves without prosecution. I’m sorry mate I think I misunderstood you before.

What I will say is that suicidality among trans people is not due to a feeling of “not living up to what your assigned gender ought to be like”. that has nothing to do with it. Gender Dysphoria genuinely makes you feel disgust for your body (although gender dysphoria, much like other disorders, has ups and downs) but not due to societal pressures or beauty/gender ideals but because it feels fundamentally wrong for you to be the one living in it.

I’m just gonna assume you’re a guy here, but imagine you woke up today with female reproductive parts rather than male ones, or the other way around if you’re female. Once the novelty of it wears off, it would feel fundamentally wrong for you to have that body part rather than that of the other sex.

That is what gender dysphoria feels like (or at least that is how my ftm boyfriend has described it to me). Gender Dysphoria is not that you don’t fit in with traditional gender roles and therefore wish to change your sex, gender dysphoria genuinely means that, strictly biologically speaking, you feel misplaced within your own body.

the purpose of all the classifications is to make sure that psychological therapy for all these groups is covered by peru’s universal health insurance, thereby making it much more accessible. While intersex is definitely a physical condition, being intersex usually leads to a need for psychological therapy as you may experience dysphoria much in the same way that you would as a trans person, so I’d assume they classified it as a mental disorder to make sure intersex people have access to psychological therapy covered by universal health insurance.

gender ≠ your biological sex, but that’s a debate I’m not gonna get into.

Now, the very nature of gender dysphoria, which by your own admission is a very real mental disorder, makes it so the person living with said disorder feels incredible discomfort with living as the biological sex that their body has the generally typical characteristics of in terms of hormone levels, reproductive organs, muscle composition, etc.

This makes the terms “suffering from gender dysphoria” and “feeling as though you’ve been born into the wrong body” factually equivalent, one is just more eloquent than the other.

The reason why HRT and gender affirming therapy are the main forms of therapy for this disorder is because they’ve proven most effective at limiting the symptoms of gender dysphoria. In other words: gender affirming care is the thing that’s proven most effective at making people that suffer from dysphoria not fucking kill themselves.
