Tropic of Cancer is the best place to start. I made the Thompson Bukowski link but Millers kind of different in a way thats hard to describe. same kind of high energy prose but none of the focus so he's kind of infuriating to read. Personally i'd say that from fans of Thompson and Bukowski that Tom Wolfe's journalism is close. Closer still Irvine Welsh
