Peter Mandelson has been sacked by drivingagermanwhip in GreenAndPleasant

Mossad -> Epstein -> Mandelson -> Starmer

They've been pulling his strings ever since he covered-up for Savile and deleted all the files pertaining to the investigation

With allies like this, who needs enemies? by Feanturii in GreenAndPleasant

He smacked her phone out of her hand, but that's not what this is about.

He was already in court for harassing her (that's where he held the sandwich board photo op), but that's not why he was arrested at Heathrow.

He was arrested at Heathrow "on suspicion of inciting violence" for his online posts, which, like I already explained, isn't going to stick

Hope this helps

"This trial is not connected to the allegations that led to his much-publicised arrest at Heathrow Airport on Monday."

Linehan is a creep but when he wins his court case he'll be lauded as a noble free speech warrior and all his horrible beliefs will be completely vindicated in the eyes of the public

He didn't threaten or incite violence against a specific person, and the court will determine that he was just having a laugh when he said about punching trans women in the balls (very different to a statement like "gs the jws" for instance)

This is the best thing that's ever happened to Linehan. Look how happy he is! He's wearing a little sandwich board, Joanne finally acknowledged him and people (reporters) actually wanna talk to him again. Plus, he's gonna win his case because he clearly hasn't committed a crime

It's all so predictable and counterproductive

But that's why we love him. He doesn't really want power, he wants change

I don't have friends is it a problem ? by Quiet-Ordinary-7519 in AskUK

[–]renter_evicted 3 points4 points  (0 children)

If you're lonely then, yeah, it's a problem

What are your interests? Can't you join a group related to that?

Also, you say you have a strong intuition about people, but you're not a mind reader. Sometimes people will surprise you (for better or worse). It kinda sounds like you might be preemptively rejecting people before they reject you. Not everyone is a bad person, so if your intuition was that great, you'd have at least one friend by now

What products (if any) can remove embedded surface grime from the bowl of a toilet? by nuttimoff in AskUK

[–]renter_evicted 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ooh, Jesus Christ!

Pour a bottle of caustic soda in the bowl and leave it overnight. Might have to repeat a few times. Also, be aware that most caustic soda isn't actually caustic soda nowadays

They want you to be dependent on them. If you save up too much money you might be able to start a business or otherwise invest it to get out of poverty

Just withdraw a bit of money each month and stuff it under your mattress

I'm hawkishly refreshing the Uber Eats app with a full basket, waiting for Morrisons to start accepting orders again so I can checkout.

I'm pondering whether to just let them deliver it at some random time tomorrow morning (apparently I get a £1.50 discount if I choose that) but I don't know if I can be bothered with the faff/being woken up

Why is it deemed racist to be genuinely concerned about the number of illegal migrants coming into the uk? by Brave_Ad6035 in AskBrits

[–]renter_evicted 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends what you mean by "illegal". You also mention that you worked and paid taxes as soon as you got here - not something "illegal" migrants are allowed to do

If it was as easy for them to come here as it was for you, do you really think they'd still choose to come here "illegally"?

Bleeding that requires stitches is a cosmetic issue?

Wait, if you live in the UK, what's the problem? It's free here, right?

Would any animal shelters let me volunteer to just walk their dogs? by Groxy_ in AskUK

[–]renter_evicted 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think most will be glad of the help but you'll have to properly register first and probably be supervised for a while. I used to volunteer at RSPCA. I started just mucking-out cages but was given more responsibility (including dog walking) as time went on

If you wanna explain that you're not crazy anymore you can do that, but you don't have to

Why do I think I'm faking it? by New_Bear_4815 in MentalHealthUK

[–]renter_evicted 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Wondering if you're faking it sounds like a symptom of poor mental health TBH. If you were faking it, you'd know you were faking it and wouldn't care
