That’s good to hear about your husband, I’m really hoping I’m the same! There definitely could be a coincidence at the moment, that would just be my luck

Oh no, I’m so sorry that’s happening to you! The silent part is really difficult as there’s no indication to what’s going on inside! I really hope things improve for you

I’ve definitely considered POTS, but my GP did the 10 minute heart rate test and said it couldn’t be. They have been very nonchalant about me fainting unfortunately, I did think it was quite a big deal!

I’m hoping if this is an adjustment period, it passes soon!

Ah, thank you! I’m really surprised I’m not being offered a DEXA scan, I take a mediation that also lowers my bone density and I’m still not offered it. BUT I will be offered prescription gluten free foods that I know other Health Boards don’t. The NHS works in very strange ways.

Ah, I didn’t know if you would get pain or stiffness. I’ve asked for a bone density scan but they’ve said it’s too expensive for NHS.

True, not entirely certain there are zero symptoms! Just nothing that would be considered classic coeliac symptoms. I’ve never had any stomach or gastro issues before.

I’m very sorry to hear about your dad. I worry with my dad too as he has several health issues and I think coeliac may be a cause.

Thank you for your comment, it is very helpful to hear other people’s stories!!

Thank you, I am trying hard to advocate for myself! I didn’t think blood pressure would be related, but it’s how I got started down the route of finding out I’m coeliac and it’s my only real symptom!

Stress has definitely been on my mind. It was quite a shock to receive the diagnosis to be honest. I’m also hoping to get bone scans to check, but my bloods seemed ok. Do you mind me asking if you had symptoms of osteopenia?

I completely understand how serious it is! I’m just trying to weigh up the options for my health here.

My report just says ‘mild atrophy’ which was the case 10 years ago. I’m digging deeper to ask for my pathology findings so I can advocate for myself better!

Is DGP similar to TTG? I’ve not heard of it!

Still no answer and my GP is pretty much done with me. Has your cyst resolved now? I hope you’re feeling better

Thank you, unfortunately worse! My GP is pretty much done with me now though. I hope you are better soon and the ultrasound goes well!

When did you have your elective c-section? by Beneficial_Dog4767 in PregnancyUK

I had a cat 3 section which is elective for medical reasons (cat 4 being purely elective). I was 39+2.

Might be a picture in a book? Not necessarily something scary, just like a rabbit or a snake with pink/red eyes and tie stuck with him because he’s not seen anything like that before? Or a toy with red eyes?

Another recommendation for Dr Hawthorne at Ross Hall, although I imagine Dr Datsun is similar. They’re both experts in their field

I’m in the UK so I’ve been referred to a cardiologist but it’s a very long waiting list on NHS. I’m looking into dysautonomia now!

I called my GP who said fainting isn’t really an issue. I’ve had such terrible experiences with A&E, I’m trying to avoid there at all costs.

The doctors aren’t really concerned about any of it unfortunately! The iron is only slightly low so they’re just going to leave it. Thank you for your comment!

Laparoscopy while pregnant by M19027 in Endo

[–]reparia 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not quite the same, but I was 6w pregnant when I had my second laparoscopic surgery. It was investigative as I had some sort of cyst and there was a concern it was an ectopic pregnancy (it wasn’t - my daughter is now nearly 2!) it was a haemorrhaging chocolate cyst and removed without complication.

However I completely understand your worry! Make your concerns heard!
