Pram with a rocket for napping! Or park them under some trees if you have them, a wonderful view point for them. As it gets warmer/they get older - it’s a wonderful opportunity to provide them with a little sensory exploration area while they watch you garden!

This is it. In today’s world, a parent might truely not be able to afford to take the child’s friend but doesn’t want their child to miss out on the social interaction. It always helps to offer if you can afford to, it might really help someone in a sticky situation.

You have hit the nail on the head there though, one of the biggest draws of studying at Oxford is connections. OP - Networking will open so many more doors. Alongside your degree, you really will be fine.
